Cobb has been able to do great things for alot of cars with the accessport, wouldnt mind that being a part of the setup, that way you can fine tune it with each additional mod.

We did not want to cut into R&D's time with the car to prepare it for the show. We do have a few of our other vehicle's that will be shown at SEMA but the 370 will not be one of them. While SEMA is going on the car will be getting the new body kit and more testing and development of the supercharger system.

Also, yes, there will be an intercooler option for our Stage II kit. As far as clearance with the trans. and oil coolers, it is our goal to make them all fit together but before we sign off completely on that we will need to do some testing. We want to do some endurance testing to make sure that there is sufficient airflow and everything works well together. Keep in mind that all of these coolers do mount in front of the radiator.

By the way...As soon as our kit is complete we will be submitting the paperwork to CARB to get our testing dates. I've already been working with a few testing facilities to get quotes on some of our other products that we're going to be getting CARB approval on.

Thanks for the info, Kyle. So how soon will the G37 version of this SC follow?

Getting very excited. I am at high altitude and could use FI to get the power back and then some...I am sure Stillen will pull through with a great kit, just hope that the price is in line.

The G37 and the 370Z are sitting right next to each other and they are being developed side by side. We will most definitely have an offering for both vehicle's.

Thanks for the Update

Thanks for the update Kyle. Although, I must admit, no hood modification makes me a little nervous. I hope the end product is a welcome suprise ;)

Make them work more! No vacation! What weekends!? We want to see it! :stirthepot: lol

lol agreed!

No hood mod because I'm sure it's a centrifugal supercharger set off to the side of the engine like another alternator in the belt accesories. Not a big blower sitting on the intake manifold.. or did I miss something?

Definitely looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers the supercharger will be putting out. I would of also been interested in a supercharger for the G37, but I am a sedan kinda guy for the Infiniti, and well, after seeing speculated pictures of the 2010 G37 Sedan front end, I can say for certain, I am not a fan of it, and would rather get something else. Hopefully it's not what people are claiming it is ( g25 in asia )

What i've seen done to increase clearance under the hood, is the development of a smaller intake plenum designed specifically for the blower to fit under the stock hood, which could be the case here. I'd much rather have a screw style blower than a centrifugal because I plan on drifting the car and would need that much needed low end torque!

RCZ 10-27-2009 04:57 PM

Hmm...I hope its not a centrifugal....

I am with you there.

being that the "manifold is a work of art" It could still be a screw or roots. The twin throttle manifold is prety big so if they completly did away with it they MAY have been able to fit a blower in there.

NewYorkJon34 10-27-2009 07:39 PM

I'm guessing this "work of art" is going to cost us additional $$$ ;)
