I was walking through the shop last week and I saw an interesting site. The supercharger development car was running! The hood was closed! and I could see our engineers inside with their laptops! That's right folks, our supercharger is nearing completion! Shouldn't be much longer now!

Oh and for the record, we are working with a very reputable electronic tuning company to do all of our tuning directly through the ECU. No more piggyback? Could be!

OMG, i love you kyle.

NIce, sounds great that the hood was closed....hummm. Does that mean you don't have to purchase another hood?

Our #1 goal on this project was to keep the entire package under the hood! So yes, you will be able to keep your factory hood.

Sorry, I can't do that right now. We're kind of keeping a tight lid on our exact supercharger of choice. I can say that it is a very reputable company and the kit is coming together beautifully. I think you will all be very impressed when it is completed. The intake manifold alone is a true work of art.

Screw the supercharger, I want to see the manifold :D

Brazilbro 10-22-2009 04:43 PM

sounds like theres going to be 2 S/C systems on display at SEMA

Now thats what I want to hear, I get to keep my hood without mods to it. Are you including a intercooler or can it be an option? Is it a root or cintrifugal? And is ther room for the oil and trans coolers?

It looks like this thread is coming back to life ;) I can't wait to see all the goodies at Sema '09

Stock hood closes AND no reliance on a piggyback? Hell, yeah!! Is this going to be shown at SEMA? Hope so!

so will the tvs r1320 hook up to the 370z? is that what they are using. I had a tvs r1320 for my cobalt and loved it. Sold it to my buddy when i got rid of the balt....if he sells the supercharger i might buy it back *assuming thats what stillin is using)...or just buy the R1900

We actually will not be sending our car to SEMA this year. We only got the car a couple of months ago and our main priority is/was new product development and testing. We did not want to cut into R&D's time with the car to prepare it for the show. We do have a few of our other vehicle's that will be shown at SEMA but the 370 will not be one of them. While SEMA is going on the car will be getting the new body kit and more testing and development of the supercharger system.

Also, yes, there will be an intercooler option for our Stage II kit. As far as clearance with the trans. and oil coolers, it is our goal to make them all fit together but before we sign off completely on that we will need to do some testing. We want to do some endurance testing to make sure that there is sufficient airflow and everything works well together. Keep in mind that all of these coolers do mount in front of the radiator.

By the way...As soon as our kit is complete we will be submitting the paperwork to CARB to get our testing dates. I've already been working with a few testing facilities to get quotes on some of our other products that we're going to be getting CARB approval on.

Hey Kyle, what's going to happen to people who bought the G3 Intakes, any connectivity? If not then I'm glad I waited ;) plus I think an intercooler is a Must!

I hope that reputable tuning company is none other than UpRev!
