OIL RELOCATION + cooler + turbo lines
Does anybody see any problem with this setup? I'm pretty sure all the parts use 10an lines. I will be using a scavenge pump from turbo outlet but didn't draw that in the pic.
Parts: Derale 35706 Premium Engine Type M Spin-On Adapter Kit with 20 x 1.5mm Thread Size http://www.jegs.com/i/Derale/259/357...oductId=961946 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ea...FTBo7AodmTIAwg I want to use that Earl's thermostat because it has ports for oil temp and pressure gauges. Will they still get accurate readings here in this setup? The only problem I see is that I can not find the remote mount plate (Derale 35729) In the correct thread pattern the z uses (20x1.5 I believe). Is this a problem or will it not matter since it's relocated anyway and I'll just have to use a different threaded oil filter? Any help greatly appreciated. |

Routing seems okay but why relocate the filter to begin with? If you want temperature and pressure readings then it's much easier to install a 3 or 4 way fitting at the factory temp sensor location and just install whatever oil sensors you want.

Well I have a 350z HR and the turbo charge pipe will be coming right by the oil filter, hence the relocation. Some of these parts are on backorder so I may cancel them and go with the regular turbo feed and oil pressure gauge from oem pressure sensor and return into an oil pan spacer and get the temp from the spacer as well.
