Default tial q bov source before or after tb

hi guys i installed 2 tial q bov's on the cold side piping of the intercooler , I was wondering do you guys run a source before or after the throttle body? I drilled and made 6mm outlet source on each side before the tb, Each bov with an individual line from the source to the bov using 4mm silicon hoses, Now i notice the air coming out ins't as much as it should( i have the correct spring -11 which matches my vacuum), So after more reading other ppl suggest the source should be after the tb , as the source behind the tb is boost only, And the bov needs vacuum source as well and that is found after the tb, So shall i drill the another source after tb , t the hose from behind the tb to a new hose after the tb then back again to the bov's, Or shall i cancel the source behind the tb and just use the new source after tb ..

thanks guys

mitco, So you drilled after the tb, right in the middle section , Now the qustion is can i T the existing line behind the tb, And make a new hole for the new source after the tb and connect them together then run them to the bov ? Or do i have to cancel the old source i made and use the new one i will drill ?

There is no reason you should not be able to run a T. Just keep the lines going to the BOV's as short as possible. If you can get a T get one that is say a 6x6x8mm and run the 8mm to the TB and then the 2 6's to each of the BOV's. I am pretty sure its a 6mm. It is whatever Sasha includes in his Boosted Performance Kit.

Temco , Thanks alot bro to clear up things , I just wish more ppl with experience can join to let me know if i have to cancel my old tap or is it ok to to run a hose and T it with the new Tap after the tb similar to yours , Dont you think yours is abit far away from the tb ? And it should be right after the tb ? As gtm specifies in their manual ? I tapped mine following the manual but i guess i saw it from the wrong angle and drilled behind the tb instead of after

6mm is the nipple size an all tial BOV's and wastegates. Since the BOV works on vacuum you need to have the source for it after the TB (anywhere after the TB). Keeping in mind that the shorter the hose the better. Having a T is fine as well. The wastegate source should be taken before the TB since it works on pressure and should not see vacuum.

boostedperformance , thanks so running the hoses from both behind and after the tb te'd together directly to the bov will not affect the bov ? since usually ppl run one source only , the only reason i want to t them is its a hassle now closing the hole i made before the tb so the easiest way is use it and connect it to the new tap after the tb .

thanks

kindly check you pm since i sent loads before.

thanks

No, you do not T them together. This will render the manifold port useless and the BOV will not function properly. The port before the TB should go to the wastegate(s).
