My afr doesn't really have anything to due with running out fuel...even at wastegate pressure he took fuel out to make more power went from 10.2 @wot to 11.3 ish. I dont have data yet to say I am not but 11.5 at wot is the target afr, as boost declines it will slightly richen up, your too rich imo, I trust Vince if he felt the fuel system is an issue he would say im sure, call him he will lay this to rest with all the answers. I believe I am the 3rd bp kit he has tuned and rt does the base maps. Maybe I missed it what is,the concern? If you plan on running higher boost you need a built motor to be safe...or 1ks for e85. Vince said he was ok with 480 tq on these motors no higher...remember tq breaks stuff not hp.

Gale. It's the same filter for the GReddy relocation thermostat plate too.

:tiphat: I just bought one two days ago... That and I have a picture of the original oil filter box saved on my phone. My phone is my memory, I just have to remember what's saved on it. :p

I assumed it would be the same. Thanks for verifying.

I have a strange vibration in my gas pedal when accelerating. Its very defined and more like a fast rattle. I notice it is worse when turning to the right. It gets more prominent when going into boost also. This wasn't there until after the dyno.

Anybody have any ideas how this might have came about or what can be causing this?

Check the piping for rubbing anywhere along the frame.

Plasmite 05-13-2014 11:59 AM

I don't have the service manual on this computer. Isn't the throttle mostly electronic?

TopgunZ 05-13-2014 12:03 PM

It is electronic but there is still a mechanism to attach it to the vehicle. I haven't lifted it back up yet to check but from what I can remember it wasn't touching anything at all.

Upon install the manifold was touching a mounting tab off the bell housing but I sawed that off and there is now a good 1/4"-1/2" clearance to it.

Plasmite 05-13-2014 12:11 PM

Mitco has the right idea

Mitco39 05-13-2014 12:28 PM

TopGunz,

Has it been colder lately in your parts?

Chuck33079 05-13-2014 12:46 PM

The flex joints flex more after a few heat cycles, don't they? Could something be rubbing now that wasn't at the time of install because of that? It's been a couple of weeks since I've been under a car with one of these.

Yes it has. We had 6"s of random snow on Sunday.

It definitely got the car hotter than it had ever been while on the dyno. Maybe the heat cycle settled some piping. Ill look it all over this weekend.

I had the same thing that happened. Check on the drivers side by the left wastegate. There is a stud that holds a heat shield on that came in contact with my wastegate clamp. I trimmed it with a Dremel and had no issues since. It was very noticeable on the pedal for some reason.

I think we cut that one too as I remember Chuck (can you confirm?) cutting the one by the turbo and another as I was messing with the turbo coupler.
