Give them a call, talk to Dustin, since Hal is usually tied up on the dyno.

So I take it you are talking about....
( Click to show/hide )
ET Tuning in Union, Mo. The STL guys said he was the best. Hmmm. Glad I avoided them and sold my Z

Sucks though. Seems the KC Z guys (myself at one point) have zero luck with FI cars. Your story sounds exactly like my first experience with FI on a Z in KC.

The beauty of it is, the car and the kit are champs. It's just the novelty of UpRev at this point. There are only a handful of guys around the country that are really proficient with it.

Once again kudos to Sasha for an outstanding product!
This is what I want out of my boost as well. Would getting 750cc injectors be more prudent?

This kit comes with 750cc injectors, 340lph fuel pump and a pump relay kit. There is no way you will run out of fuel on a stock block with this set-up...well, unless you don't care if you engine goes.

Sasha. Talking about that relay. We spliced it in on the driver side of the back seat, so instead of the 6-8" of pink wire running to the pump I've got probably another foot. That extra shouldn't cause any voltage drop issues I would ever see would it?

You should be good...

For reference: That pump will pull 10-15 Amps depending on load. We are probably closer to the 10A level.

The new wire (12AWG) for 10 feet at 15A, voltage will drop ~ 0.5 volts
That factory wire (~18 AWG) at 10 feet (who knows how long it really is) at 15A, voltage will drop ~2.0 volts. 18AWG at 15A will drop 0.2 volts per foot.

The voltage drop issue was hit or miss anyway, so the fact that you are improving it at least 1.5V at full load, that extra 0.2V won’t make a difference in this case.

That's what I figured but just wanted to double check. I don't like any questions when it comes to having the proper amount of fuel.

Anybody have a Dynojet number from just yellow wastegate spring on the base map that comes with the kit? I'm trying to get a comparison for my numbers today.

Tial seems to have some calibration issues. I think their product sheet says something about pretty loose tolerances, but between yours and mine alone there is 1.7 lbs difference.

Edit: "Spring pressures are calculated based on a 1:1 back pressure ratio, it is not uncommon to see a +/- 2psi differential."
