While the other guys are still talkin about legal actions and delivery dates for 201X.... I just wanted to remind you guys that the awesome F.I 2.5" dual exhaust is availabel with the purchase of this kit.

wow its a great deal the f.i exhaust and the turbo kit all for 6950 lol: :bowrofl:.... do you happen to know or if anyone else know if the stillen exhaust would work for this turbo kit. i cant decide between this kit or the unavailable gtm MHI turbo kit if it ever comes out. still looking for a daily driver before i purchase this kit though so sad

As for the exhaust, I would call Stillen and see if the axle back bolts up to the OEM Y-pipe. If it does, then yes, I can make it work as I do have a jig for for a down pipe that bolts up to the OEM axle back:

I am also very confident that the OEM exhaust will make 500whp with this kit. However, the F.I dual 2.5" will do it without much effort at all.

EDIT:

Just had a look at a few pictures of the Stillen exhaust (could't really find great pictures though), but it does look like it would bolt up to the OEM Y-pipe, making it compatible with this kit.

We were impressed with the performance of your turbo kit. The simplicity of the install was also appreciated. By far the easiest kit I have installed yet. I think we will charge 8-10 hrs +tuning for full install and see how that works out for us. I think that is a fair assessment of time involved for a shop to get everything done neatly and properly. We charge 3x that for a twin turbo kit and sometimes come out on the wrong end of things all said and done "fitting and working properly". The boosted performance install is a walk in the park comparatively speaking. Tuning in our area ranges from 500-1000$ for forced induction custom dyno tune.

I have attached the final dyno sheet from the first tuning session. The car has a Hills Garage longblock,ssv intake,jwt cams. The tune is very conservative at 15lbs of boost. It wanted more timing but I was not giving it to her ... Curious to see what he does with 600whp. Car runs fabulous!

A fuel pump relay will now be standard with this kit. This relay will feed the voltage directly to the large, power hungry 340lph fuel pump that is standard with this kit.

Since everybody is easily making over 500whp with this kit, the OEM fuel pump wiring is too small to provide the power needed by this fuel pump. This relay kit will elminate the problem, and open up the window for those looking to push the stock block as well as built blocks.

I can't be positive on the 370Z but I know for a fact that the G37 Stillen kit will bolt up to the factor mid-pipe flange. I know this for two reasons; first a buddy of mine bought his Stillen exhaust used and it didn't come with the y-pipe so he had to use the stock y-pipe, second I know several G guys that swapped back to the factory y-pipe becuase they weren't fans of the noise level with the Stillen y-pipe (believe all of them were female complaint issues of the car being to loud).

Gentlemen, the fuel pump relay was not going to be sold seperately from the kit. However, it seems that there is a lot of interest, so if you wish to purchase it from me it will be $55 + shipping.

wish i saw your post sooner or i would have asked... unfortunately i just got off the phone with adam hume(i think i spelled his last name correctly) and he said the stillen exhaust doesnt bolt onto the stock y-pipe.
this is what i did find on myg37.com josh from stillen
"you wouldn't have the bracket and hardware to secure the filters. The filters from the 370 kit lay on the bumper beam and therefore don't utilize a bracket. that includes the piping, not to mention the splash shield and other hardware that isn't present on the 370Z kit"

is it a must for ppl who just want to stay at the high 400 to low 500whp? any difference from the stock ones from that one if we plan to never go over 500whp?

It comes with the kit now as a standard feature.

I think you should be ok for up to 500whp without it, but it does depend on the dyno you are using as well.

I know at some point they changed the way the Stillen exhaust is fabricated because the ones they make now don't look anything like mine. I know on the G the y-pipe was interchangeable on the version I have. I can see from their new diagram that they have added some sort of x-pipe at what would be the flange mating of the factory y-pipe/mid-pipe. It also appears they use clamps instead of actual flanges. The Stillen I have keeps the factory y-pipe/mid-pipe flange. I assume that earlier versions of the 370Z Stillen would have been the same.

Found a website with an old 370Z Stillen, it had a flanged y-pipe/mid-pipe section aswell:

Short story long, it doesn't appear that if you have a recent Stillen exhaust or plan to purchase new that it will work without having a muffler shop modify to fit BP's piping. If you have an older version it most likely will.

As for the intake. Everything stated above appears to be why the 370Z Gen 3 intake wouldn't fit a G37. Since you don't need the bracket hardware and shield for a Z, wonder if it works in reverse order.

I'll be contacting you for the relay kit soon. Did you ever consider putting a fuel return conversion kit as an option? I'm sure Charles from CJM would be willing to work with you.

I have thought about it, but don't think it is needed for most of the customers. With the relay there is plenty of fuel on tap to really push the limits of the stock block. I think that a fuel return kit is a must for those building the short blocks, and going past 550whp.

Charles is a graet guy, and I am sure if I needed some upgrades on the fueling system to go along with the kit, he would be on board with it.

i am pretty sold on his kit. will be buying clutch kits, guages etc. this year and hopfully next year if everything falls into place this kit will be going in
