Thanks Sasha. Just making sure there wasnt some form of wizardry that I overlooked. Thats the last thing I want is for the car to blow up on the dyno because I have the wrong spring in there.

Guys.... Is it even possible to align the turbo and hook it up to the charge pipe?!? I have no idea how you guys did this

Took us about 30 minutes but it does Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I can get it without the filter on... I wish the filter was smaller

We set filter up by bell housing, lined it up, secured it with one bolt. Put filter on then tighten remainder of bolts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
It's the worst part of the install by far.
It helps tremendously if you have someone to hold the charge pipe steady while you push on the turbo. Oil the hell out of the coupler and turbo. |

A bit of oil on the charge pipe that slides in to the coupler will go a long way. I can do it with my eyes closed :). I will be looking at making this part of the install a whole lot simple....if all goes according to plan of course.

Im real good at it now haha

The biggest problem I have had is getting the freaking clamps on. The one on the turbo compressor housing and the one beside the oil sandwich adaptor took the most time over everything on the kit for me.

Sometimes one can get a bit frustrated, and then it just compounds. I have found that when I do get frustrated or can't figure something out, it is best to walk away for a bit and then come back to it. 99% of the time, you can get the part that was such a pain done in a couple of minutes. At least that has been my experience with working on cars.

My girlfriend won't let me work in it today :( cause I got so mad at it yesterday. Haha she said I need a break from garaging

Oh, I have a leak where the line connects to the oil reservoir on the turbo. I know someone else had an issue with one, it may have been that specific one. What did you do to fix it. I have already made sure it was really snug, and I don't really want to tighten it any more because i dont want to damage it. Should I try some thread paste? It MAY be leaking from the actual body of the an end rather than the threads, so idk what the heck to do lol.

Can you put the charge pipe on first then run it up front?
