I missed a step somewhere. Aren't the turbos you have good for a lot more than the 15(?) psi you're running them at? What do you gain by swapping kits that couldn't be gained by working with the existing one?

The combination of small T25 housings and poor design/flowing manifolds will limit maximum power. So you can put whatever turbo you want on there, you will always be limited to the turbine housings and manifold design.

If you compare any manifold to the F.I units, it is very obvious which manifold will flow more/better and produce much better results.

Remember this picture I took:

T25 .63 a/r turbine compared to a Precision T4 1.0 a/r (that is only a 1.0 a/r housing too, they go up to 1.32)

Whatever air the compressor pushes out, the turbine has to be able to handle as well.

Agreed, but it would seem there's a lot more left in that kit and those turbos before you hit the wall.

The turbo I have now are rated at 480 each but I am held back by the log style manifold that come with the GTM kit and the small .64 A/R housings that I have on the car now. This is the reason I have been stuck and haven't ran anything more than 18-19 PSI. It is just to much backpressure from manifolds and housing's that I have on the car. I could just change the housing's with the manifolds I have now but the motor has to come out to do that. Pulling the engine in and out on these cars with a TT setup is not cheap.

In the end I am selling my GTM kit because the New V3 manifolds have not come out and I have been waiting a year for them. I would love to have the new manifolds upgrade my GT3071r's turbo to HTA billet wheel's 640 HP each. This would be very cost effective for me but I am just tired of waiting.

Ah, I didn't realize you were running the smaller GT30s. That's definitely going to choke.

I have already hit that wall almost 2 years ago at 650whp yes I can push it more and go to 700whp maybe a little more. But I have choose not to push it due to all the backpressure to much of it is not good for an engine.

Yes this is what Sam sold me at the time I wasn't as educated as I am now. I know what I want and I know what well make power. What I really would like is TT kit that has good flowing manifold's and two GTX3076R turbos or a HTA3076 but that is not available for our cars.

So Boosted performance is leading the pack right now as the next best option.

Also keep in mind the gtm t25 on their exhaust manifolds were undercut by 1/4 of an inch.. Check out my pictures.

I started surgery today. I got everything off that needs to be off. My exhaust was a whore. I had to sawzaw the y-pipe off of the rear portion because of all the rust on the nuts lol. A 14 was too big and a 13 was too small. The demon bolt was surprisingly easy. Slowly but surely...
