I was just going to say thats a 3.0 as well, I think the vq would spool up faster...still that's a lot of power!

Nissan370 03-24-2014 06:21 PM

Dam squeeze. Your tired of 640+ rwhp thats crazy I cant imagine to many cars on the road that can even come close to walking with you must be nice .

TopgunZ 03-24-2014 06:29 PM

My buddy has a built engine for a G35 that can easily hold 1000+ laying in his garage. Sleeved, Twin pump and the whole nine. He is getting a kit from Sasha and putting the PT7675 (I think) on it.

His goal is what ever that hog will make.

Should be interesting.

There aren't many cars that I run into on when i have my car out spring/summer but the crowd I hang around with is no joke there. To give you an idea there is an event that I am going to next week at Pocono Raceway and this is the list of some of the cars. There are some faster ones that are not on this list that will be there that are not listed.

Those are some great numbers but to me that's too much usable power. I would be afraid of taking a sharp turn and not being able to handle it when the rear breaks free. Again to maintain such power takes a lot of time and money.

That's the beautiful of having a boost controller for me I'm use to my power level so I would like spring pressure to be 650whp-700whp then go from there.

COSMO 03-24-2014 07:54 PM

Boost controller or not with 1000 hp.. ok

Not sure what you mean by VVEL hp limit the highest I have seen on one of these engines is 850whp it was a GTM car.

I thought that the engine was limited to under 600whp because of timing issues with the vvel. In order to bypass this limitation people were talking about head swapping with a vhr engine. I truly thought we couldn't keep going up in hp until vvel was cracked! Am I wrong?

Yep. The fast intentions guys are pretty much all over 600. One over 650.

Underground Racing Lambos are running 1500hp+ on the street all day. ;)

I just watched some data logs from my AEM gauge, the base map is quite good IMO for a base map on this kit, definitely a bit rich but around 10.3-10.5 consistently at 6-7 psi, this is getting too fun...upset I did not tap the RPM wire now, I think I will do that tomorrow.
