After I dyno on april 11th and I prove if the headers are useless for boost or not, you can sell those, I will if they bust!

The EBC does not need a source from the IM, as it does not need vacuum at all. The entire wastegate/EBC system is based on pressure, so the charge pipes in the engine bay can be used for this.
Since the kit already comes with a couple of drill bits and a tap, it is easy to add another pressure source to either one of the engine bay charge pipes. I am sending an extra 1/8" by 1/4" barb now with every kit for this purpose. So if the customer ends up using a boost controller, they can just add the extra port. |
Would you recommend we not use the IM as the pressure source? Is seeing vacuum an issue for the EBC?

Since I am really considering switching to this kit from my GTM kit. I have done some trolling on the 6766 turbo I would get with this kit. This dyno is from a 3.0 Supra. I feel that if this is ran on a built motor 370z 700whp pump gas wouldn't be a problem at all.

So you are right, with good/proper supporting mods this is realistic. Precision is also working on a new 6870 turbo. So, 68mm compressor but more importantly a 70mm turbine wheel. The turbo is rated at 1050HP, and I am going to do my absolute best to make this turbo work with the twin scroll kit. By the way, that HP rating translates to 105lbs/min of air coming out of that compressor. The turbo however is not due out on the market till late this year...but it gives us something to look forward to. It also won't be available with a twin scroll turbine, but that should not be a big deal. It will still perform extremely well. All the Precision turbos that come with this kit are billet wheel as well, so just like the new Garrett GTX line of turbos. These don't even start to shine till you get past 20psi of boost, so all the customers out there with these 6266's and 6766's even at 550-600whp are still a long way from really waking these turbos up. |

My buddy has a built engine for a G35 that can easily hold 1000+ laying in his garage. Sleeved, Twin pump and the whole nine. He is getting a kit from Sasha and putting the PT7675 (I think) on it.
His goal is what ever that hog will make. Should be interesting. |

Those are some great numbers but to me that's too much usable power. I would be afraid of taking a sharp turn and not being able to handle it when the rear breaks free. Again to maintain such power takes a lot of time and money.
