GTM/Stillen Exhaust Fitment info:
I just wanted to make everyone aware that gtm's 3' test pipes will not mate with the stillen exhaust. The flange holes will not align and the ID's on both are off 1/2 from each other so be sure to mate those things up with something that will work.... The fitment on the GTM test pipes are top notch!!

Good info.
Did you managed to make them fit or replaced something? |
Will the 3inch downpipes fit any 2.5-2.75 inch exhausts? I thought you need the 3 inch exhaust as well.
|
Before ordering I did ask gtm and they claimed it would fit. What I had to do was take it to a muffler shop and have them weld in a reducer with the right size flange to fit. It cost me $200 but turned out great and sounds like a porsche 911.. Very Suttle...

Any :pics: ?

Give me a day or two and I will post up a pic..

Alright here is a pic of the reducer I had to have to make my stillen exhaust mate with the gtm 3' test pipes... Sorry it took so long..

Previous to the GTMs 3' test pipes, What did you have installed with your Stillen exhaust?
stock cats? HFC's? |
Just the stock cats..... The sound is very suttle but soon Iam planning on going with the gtm 3' exhaust so I will try to sell my modified stillen exhaust pretty cheap..
