Baer383 04-03-2013 11:36 AM

Let see some numbers then Ill be impressed.

Jordo! 04-03-2013 11:41 AM

No roots, no dyno, no care.

Another centrifugal blower kit fails to impress at this point, but thanks for posting.

I don't know about that ,the numbers I got out of my GTM stage 1.5 are quite impressive.

That's an expansion on an existing kit.

My point is that it's unlikely HKS will have something to offer that will make GTM et al seem like yesterday's news.

Unless they figured out how to fit a roots or twin screw blower -- now THAT would be news and a huge improvement (at least in terms of low end torque) over current offerings.

It would make the car feel like a V8 was under the hood. I would kill for a roots type blower kit :yum:

I repped he OP for his time -- just sayin', HKS's kit is probably nothing to wake the neighbors over...

That maybe an expansion of stage 1 but mine puts out more power than anybodys stage 2.

Everybody knows that turbos will produce more torque and HP but it still would be intresting to see what they have brought to the table.

that's a fujimura bumper..

theDreamer 04-03-2013 02:46 PM

On youtube, the second video has this under the description:
HKS プレミアムデイ でパワーチェックした時の映像です。462ps 58.8kg でし た!

Which I would guess is the HP which converts to about 450HP

theDreamer 04-03-2013 02:54 PM

Found this of the Revyou car:

By some of the posts on the blog it looks like they have done some internal engine work, pistons & such.

that'll cost you another rep point for changing your mind. :tiphat:

fuct 04-05-2013 11:14 AM

there are tons of pics in that link of the entire kit and dyno numbers. great find!!!

Staples 04-05-2013 09:54 PM

Running two blowers, those numbers aren't that impressive. It's a really cool concept, but you have a major bottleneck with that intake piping. It looks like it goes from 2.25" - 2.75".

OMGWTFBBQ 04-06-2013 12:33 AM

Just throwing it out there.. but this company was the only company to rep the 370z crowd at the past HKS premium day against companies such as Esprit and Pan Speed (which is saying a lot already) and is rocking a custom twin HKS supercharger setup making somewhere around 800ps. ;)

OMGWTFBBQ 04-06-2013 12:45 AM

If you want more information about their setup, check out their blog here:

Can we buy that surge tank?!

Q8y_drifter 04-07-2013 11:29 PM

Anyone notice the water temps in the track video? 114C is a bit scary.

Alstann 04-07-2013 11:41 PM

Intake manifold reminds me of the 300ZX manifolds, with the balancer pipe. I wonder how well this works on our cars?

Stock manifold is balanced too. If you look in from one throttlebody flange, you can see out the other side.

This type of manifold separates each bank of cylinders though - instead of collecting all cylinders together like OEM. They used the manifold design on the 300ZX and the GT-R. The balancing tube was necessary to keep both sides at equal manifold pressures - if one side had more pressure, air would be shoved to the other side.

I believe the idea behind this design is for better airflow and swirl characteristics, versus a huge open box like ours. No sharp turns to deal with.

Hey guys, was reading through this thread and guess who showed up on the cover of Option Magazine?... We have some of the inside scoop on the Revyou Supercharger kit. Feel free to email me directly at bo@bulletproofautomotive.com for further details.
