GTM Performance Engineering: MHI Twin Turbo Official Release
We are proud to introduce our new line of Twin Turbo Kits for the 370Z based on the venerable Mitsubishi Heavy Industry turbocharger line up. These turbos are water cooled and oil lubricated journal bearing turbos with a great track record of reliability, performance and value. Available with our kits are three different turbo options: 16g (600hp), 18g (700hp), and 20g (900hp). All three turbo options cost the same. Since the VQ37VHR is such a great engine, the 16g and 18g options are great for stock motor builds while the 20g is the way to go for built engine, high horsepower setups.
Since this kit was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, it is the only turbo kit that retains the factory crash bar. Also, there are no permanent modifications that have to be done to the car to install and run this kit successfully with outstanding performance. In addition, the engine can remain in the vehicle for installation. As usual, we offer our kits in two basic forms: Turn-Key and Tuner. Our Turn-Key kits come with our GTM Spec ECU flash and upgraded fuel system components. These kits are designed to deliver a complete package that can be installed on a car and perform flawlessly out of the box. Our Tuner Kit, on the other hand is a complete kit that gives the end user the freedom to choose whatever engine management and fuel system components they prefer. Below are the components included in our Turn-Key Kit.
Below are the components included with our Tuner Kit with Internal Wastegates:
Below are the components included with our Tuner Kit with External Wastegates:

If I can come up with the cash soon then I'm definitely in on the group buy since its a terrific deal.... $5600!
Otherwise I will probably step up from this $6800 kit and go to your regular Garrett Stage 1 for $7500.

How good are the installation instructions? Tons of pictures? Pop up book-like? I'd really consider doing this myself since I bought a Titan crew cab last week for a daily I can keep the Z in the garage.

I don't know, not can I speak on GTM's behalf, but I have heard that their installation instructions for their other products were so good that Ray Charles could do the install

TT kit -->
price --> Sam, this is incredible... this really could be THE TURBO KIT for many of us. Let us know the details.. any drilling or welding during the installation?? Does it require new engine mounts? |

In for additional info on the new manifolds and oil pan.
Also, will the same recirc pipes for the garrett kit fit this? Whats the boost curve difference on 16g v 18g? Has additional testing been completed on possible boost creep issues with iwg? Last edited by BlkNismo; 03-20-2013 at 05:45 AM. |
