Can we do another group buy now for the next model Z? This way we can get ahead of the game.
If indeed the next Z is FI with a 4 banger, can't wait to see what GTM upgrades there will be. It will be a lot cheaper to upgrade. Then maybe a lot more people will be up upgrading from a business standard.

So I'm unfortunantly getting to a point where I'm going to have to make a choice in whether to stay in this group buy or back out and put this money towards other needed things. My wife has been very supportive of my car hobby up until now. This was a large amount of money that I spent. As life is, it is starting to throw many curve balls my way. So naturally when you have problems you have to throw money at it to make it go away. I have not made a descision yet on what we are going to do. But I did want everyone to know what was going on if I did choose to back out I would not want anyone to jump to conclusions.

It's really up to the wife, the fact that I paid so much and have nothing to show for it is causing friction in between us.

I'm in a similar predicament. I threw out my back 4 months ago. Haven't worked since. Priorities like the mortgage out weighs this by far. I hate to back out on the group buy and such great kit but it seems likely.

It's no surprise that people are backing out. Months over the original ship date, and no solid ETA? I'd be having second thoughts as well. I'm not concerned about GTM screwing anybody, but they may have bitten off more than they could chew with a group buy this large.

I have three superior ideas of what happened. That being said, one of the reasons behind my idea is one thing which also lead to the second which is what slowed it all down. But the third one was for the best for us as customers. This is from nothing GTM has told me but I fill I figured it out to the T. Yea. I'm that good.

Things have certainly taken much longer than anticipated but one thing seems to have been forgotten. You will never see pricing on any kind of forced induction kit for this platform like this again. If you are concerned about waiting for an awesome deal, we have our Garrett based turbo kits available for sale starting at $6,799 for a Tuner Kit. We would be perfectly fine converting your order to a Garrett based kit if you want something in your hands faster.
That all said, we are getting closer to having the parts in hand for the MHI Turbo Kits. As such, we will be closing the Group Buy on October 1st. We will also be putting together a schedule of when we expect to be receiving the remaining components for these kits and posting that up before week's end. |
