Before you start getting crazy with the cooling mods though, it would be a good idea to get a firm grip on where you are now with your coolant and oil temps. While gauges can go a long way to helping you determine that, you want to be focused on your driving as opposed to your gauges. Therefore, it would be ideal to have data logging capability so you can go over the logs while you're in the paddock after your session to see your peak temps. Just remember that different tracks will have different demands on the car and the driver. Some tracks are going to push your cooling system hard while others are going to shred your tires instead. You need to setup your car for what you are trying to do, the track you are driving on and the conditions you are driving in. Quote:
As for specifying different blow off valves or other components, keep in mind that the intent of this kit is to have it on the shelf and ready to ship. While we can certainly accommodate custom orders, it will add to the lead time. Quote:
The need to change turbos depends on which setup you start out with. If you go with the 18g's, you won't need to change turbos for more power. The dyno graph on the Mustang dyno was with the 18g's on the stock engine and 91 octane gas. Quote:
As for production, we are still ironing out some details on production time. Once we have the information on when these kits will be available, we will announce it. |

Ok thats good to know! I am highly interested in this! Im pretty sure i want to be put on the list i can finance the kit and put most the cash down. Just wondering will you be posting some videos of this kit so we can see the quality?
From what i have researched about kits in general is their is three things to look for How fast, reliable, and cheap it is. You can only pick two and sacrifice the third. So this kit is cheaper than most and fast not the fastest but still fast so is the parts reliable? Any warranty with the parts? Obviously if you dont install it you cant warranty the install but i plan on keeping this car for 30 years. So i want something that is reliable. Thats my concern. Other than that id buy it in a heart beat! Another question can the test car be put on a dynojet too? With that in mind if i go on the list id want the 18's with black powdercoated pipes and i already have uprev so no need for that. And it would be shipped to 78249. Thanks again! Oh and i plan on buying the GTM 3" quad exhaust down the line too any chance of saving money and throwing that in too? If not its ok im in no rush for the 3" yet. |

GTM, what are your thoughts on someone attempting a tt install without a lift? i know it CAN be done in theory, but in practice, is this something i would even wanna look in to

This is great news - that was one of my worries with the Garrett kit, even though a template was included.
