At this point I just want to finish this project but it seems a 3 inch exhaust is near impossible to get. For you guys going with the 3'gtm downpipes be aware this will not work with any of the 2 1/2 exhaust unless you have an exhaust shop weld in a reducer. The flanges will not mate up due to the difference in size and the bolt holes.. I love my gtm kit and praise gtm for all of their hard work put into this kit btw...( I know Iam no where near as good as spohn with the brown nosing but I am sincere)....

Wouldn't it be pointless to get 3' downpipes just to reduce it to 2.5? At the same time would it be beneficial if it was the other way around say 2.5 to 3"

Where did you see that the exhaust flanges will not line up?

It may not be a smooth transition, but I believe you can bolt any exhaust to the 3in DP.

I saw it on my own car or I wouldn't be posting to others to save them time and money...

It's good to see people trying to assist other members with info that is not readily available like fitment when they have real world experience.
Thank you!

It depends on the exhaust/ flanges. I have a Greddy TI-C which is a 70mm or 2 3/4''. I'm not positive but a friend of mine that has experience with GTM kits and has done several lately that in my case the 3'' downpipes will work with the Greddy kit unless GTM hs done something different lately. If not I'll make it work. I know in the 350Z days there were tons of GTM TT kits with Greddy TI-C exhaust combo's.

To me it seems the EWG only come with the 3'' downpipes and not the 2.5'' downpipes.

I know there are a lot of people that are eager and anxious to get their hands on this upcoming and amazing product. Believe me when I say that there is no one more eager than us to deliver. This kit and its price point, quality and value did not really happen by coincidence or luck. A lot of planning and big investments had to be made to offer it. Unfortunately, we are still waiting on some of the components to be ready so we can start the packaging process. Here is a video of one of the machines that was added to our line up of CNC equipment to even make producing 100 turbo kits possible. The machine has been in our possession for the last 8 months and it took 6 months just to get the tooling ready for it. Finally, we are sending our engineer and machine operators for training so this baby can get busy. This machine is easily capable of producing 100 pipes per day with multiple compound bends that don't require any cutting or welding. This is one of the reasons we can offer this kit at such a great price. Not only can this machine do intercooler pipes, but it will also enable us to produce our exhaust systems at a much better price point as well as on the shelf at all times.

So rest assured we are working tirelessly on bringing this product to market as quickly as humanly possible. Enjoy the video.

Sam that was just impressive!!! I'm sure it would require someone real skillful to operate it or whatever CAD software/G Code is behind it.
