I will also but only until I have the chance to buy them. Hopefully install them myself.

Great tune it's not necessary. But having your tune check out from time to time is a must IMO. but like I said before a boost control is a must have. That's just me. There's to many things that might happen.

There a good bit over a typical gauge. The one ill be running has to be wired to the ECU with two wires (not all boost controllers are like that). Then power to the gauge, then the harness goes to the stepper motor that controls the boost (that's mounted in the engine bay), and then from there you have to run three series of vaccum lines ( intake, wastegates, and turbos). The two wastgates and turbos have to be T tapped with the vaccum lines. Also making them as short as possible. So location of the stepper motor is somewhat important but not a big deal. Just depends on which company you buy from. Mine is a HKS EVC. It's more advanced.

thanks. that doesn't sound too crazy. i've done a mbc install on my volvo and it just sounds like the harness is the only "extra" part in the equation of an ebc over and mbc. if someone isn't changing boost on the flyt or switching maps, is there and advantage of an ebc over an mbc?
