Considering GTM still has our money for this group buy, mine going on a solid 8 hours now and others coming up on 2-3 months, I dare say we have every right to still post in this thread discussing whats going on with it. |

In my opinion, I feel like some people that post are stirring the pot, and feeding the flames. It's a very tough call - many people, including myself, have been in the group buy for a long time. I've personally paid since the day they took payments. I think that we should start trying again to be a part of the solution, and not a part of the problem. Of course we have the right to discuss the communication issues and payment issues - but to what end? Many people have stated that calling them is the best solution, and the worst case - get your bank involved. Why would GTM have any reason to delay the kit more than they want to? I'm 100% certain that everyone at GTM is on full tilt, waiting for all the parts to arrive, and doing everything possible to get the kits ready to go.
Don't get me wrong - I am also anxious about waiting for my kit. I also think that if Sam kept up with more constant updates, we would be okay. The way I see it, however - at the end of all of this waiting and chaos, I hope GTM and the 370z crowd can figure out how to move past all of this, and keep our platform innovated and keep developing new things. We are all car enthusiasts, and whoever is involved in making our car better and faster, I support. We're a community, and I'm proud to be a part of it. Let's not attack each other over opinions and thoughts. It wasn't the way the forum was meant to be.

I think that we need to start a list of everyone who is still in the group buy.
A list of all of the people who have pulled out because they couldn't wait would also be highly useful. We will need to track which kit they decided to swap to (if applicable). We definitely need a list of everyone who has paid and in what order. How much they paid and in what currency might be helpful too. We should also start a list of everyone who is going with IWG vs who is going with EWG. Plus a list of everyone who is getting the Garrett upgrade and who isn't. We could also start a list for people to suggest more new lists which we should start. Once we have these lists, we can send them to GTM who can file them under "don't give a bleep!" and continue working towards getting the kits ready. |

But no seriously, tho. It would actually be a decent idea to start a separate thread (for those still in the group buy) on what everyone ordered, options, supporting mods, goals, etc. MyG37 has one, thought it would be nice to know the variety and who has the same goals you do. Also it would give us something to do while we bide our time... |

I agree. Did any one else pay for the kit yet ? I talked to GTM today and my impression was that if we don't start paying ASAP ( They did not specify any dates ), that person might be eliminated from the group buy price. Can anyone confirm this please. Last edited by conmam; 01-23-2014 at 10:44 PM. |

Oooooooohhhhhhhh ponzi scheme Bernie.....gotcha!
I can just imagine the feedback on this forum if GTM started cancelling the group buy discount for anyone who hasn't paid yet without letting them know beforehand!!! It would be pure carnage!!! |

Clever right??
Obviously this is not a Ponzi scheme. What we do see is classic small business cash flow issues. Sam is the backbone of the business and his health incident may have been a terrific blow to the company. 1 in 4 small business owners don't have any health insurance in this country, so that question comes to mind also. If cash flow was not an issue, GTM would be responding to all this bad publicity by speeding up refunds. Their slow action only creates more doubt. Not in your mind of course because you have a vested interest in it not being true.
