These off topic discussions is what keeps this thread alive. Myself along with Spohn and Baer are the reasons THIS thread is alive, these off topic discussions is what keeps us striving to see this thing through. We are in our own care group in a sense. Honestly if it wasn't for this thread I would not be on this forum as much as I am. So yeah we are on topic, because we the customers of this group buy are the topic.

Very true, you guys help this thread not become stagnant and are a hoot at times, but the entertainment and support keeps us going while we wait.:icon17:

If it bothers you that much only skim over the blue highlighted names of Mike and Sam for there updates. Problem solved. I'm here 7 days a week. Thank you.

OH CRAP, TRIPS IS HERE. RUUUN

Maybe if Sam returned the courtesy of responding to his emails, I would bother to follow what he says. :tiphat:

Put your money where your mouth is and step into the world of FI. When you get tired of saying, "hey bro hold on, let me fill my nawws tank back up," let me know. I'll even be nice enough to tell you who can and CANNOT tune your car properly on Oahu.

Um , I really do not know how to respond to this . But , I will try .... " I live my life a quarter mile at a time . I'm getting the 3'' downpipes that already comes with my particular kit

blackonorange 09-19-2013 08:59 PM

I thought the down pipes only end in the stock header location? So your telling me my cat back exhaust will bolt right up to the dp? And don't you dare lie to me

I confirmed with Mike that the 3" in down pipes will end in the stock location, but it will not mate up to anything that's less than 3 inch duals. The flanges are larger than the regular 2.5" in exhausts most peeps run.

That's not a crazy thing to fix though, I plan on either running cutouts or getting a shop to mate my HKS to the downpipes.

EDIT: Stock location as in the stock ending of the cats. Not the header. The header is replaced by turbo. :D

This is my boat also. I have the Greddy TI-C which is 2.75 (70mm) but to me looks to taper to a 2.5 where it would bolt up. I'll measure tomorrow. So while doing this I'm going to have the resonators taken out for a true straight pipe.

I'm actually from Hawaii, but I have to admit Oahu doesn't have very many good tuners or Motorsport shops. I do miss Hawaii's weather, but Texas does have a lot of top notch tuners. The only tuner and shop I would let touch my car on Oahu is Seth at Sonics Motorsports. He just became an Uprev certified tuner a year ago, but knows what the hell he is doing. Stay away from Munkywurks, he'll really work on your car like a monkey. There are a few other shops, but from my experience Seth is the go to guy on Oahu.

The lack of tuners for our cars is the only thing I do not like about Hawaii . I have been to all the recommended shops by the guys here and I think I will wait . Hawaii only has one place for nitrous and I believe that is going to close . So that leaves me watching you pioneers for the GTM , FastIntentions and boosted kits . When the reviews start coming in for the G 37 I will pull the trigger on the one that seems the be the easiest in terms of DIY ... That wait continues :shakes head::shakes head:
