Stillen SC... I know I know..

Warranty? Lol... If I'm not mistaken, to keep warranty on the 370 with Stillen you need to run the Stillen tune. So any dyno u take it for a tune

So any dyno u take it for a tune will void the warranty u guys try to keep.

If all else fails, jus asi AMNVQ how his warranty turned out with Stillen and the dealer and every receipt he held onto.

I kept my warranty other than the engine for obvious reasons.
Had many things replaced after the SC install under warranty.

Almost bought an extended warranty, but after reading it most items that could wear or most likely break after 50k are not really covered under the extended warranty I care about.

For the most part yes, never needed to test this with the SC thankfully.
I am sure if I bent or snapped something internally that is voided but even with stillen gen 3 intakes a dealership will fight you on it. But if the oil pan exploded I could see them helping with that since the SC is not touching that & is probably factory defect.

I don't think that's what they mean about warranty. When going FI everyone is only worried about blowing the motor. Warranty on anything else is not really a major concern.

Maybe, but it seems dealerships are very quick to point the finger. Just a reason I suggest if he works with a dealership they are happy to work with the SC & all warranty issues that could occur. Be it a window motor to the A/C.

ANMVQ did the exact same. Kept every receipt from the dealer, even paperwork. He got screwed royally when his motor blew by the botch install of the dealer.

Dealers are stealerships. They go by the book. Some of the techs know what they are doing. Others don't. A reputable VQ shop is far more capable of installing SC or TT than any dealer will ever be.

It all depends, mine was done by a dealership who builds Z & GT-R but they just handle the install and farm-out the tuning. But for most people the dealership will just void everything & using a good stand alone will be more beneficial, if they have qualified techs.

We've done quite a few 370z's with the Stillen SC, we love it. I find that after doing the SC the car feels like it has a V8 instead of the V6, great power gain and driveability.

Honestly, if I can find a good SC kit that can get me to 500whp reliably..I think I'm going to that route. I know once I achieve my goal I'm going to become complacent and want more...but I gotta draw the line somewhere.. LOL.

If I can't then I'll go the twin turbo route. You guys have been a tremendous help..

As for now I think I'm going to look into the GTM's SC packages... and possibly figure out (between deployments) how to get my car to ATL to Z1.

Thanks again guys...

If you have any more advice/suggestions... I'm all ears.

For transport I would shop around, but speak with the shop you are going to use.
Many have connections or deal with transport companies a lot as people like to ship cars to them. Might be able to get a good deal & know the shop trusts them to transport your car.

Looking at the GTM SC packages is the right move for you.
