Is your car still under the knife? I understand if it is. Sometimes (most of the time) builds take a good while to get going and get on the road.

here is where my new gtm washer bottle was placed
made a V type bracket to hold it

Awesome! Exactly where I imagined it to be with all that extra space. Might have to add that to my wishlist.

Can you be a little more specific about the bracket? I am looking into picking up one of those GTM Washer Bottles, but I need a GOOd solution for installation. If possible, I would like to mirror your installation.

Why is there a clamp on the rubber overflow hose from the radiator? :icon14:

Under the knife, scalpal, machete; yes.
I understand that the resevior is complete, however I have not seen it. Possibly Sam/Mike @ GTM could post up some pictures as I have not been given any.

The car remains at GTM for "tweaking" and the new MHI manifolds when they come in.

It always takes multiple times longer than you Expect for a TT project and this has been no exception.

no kidding?

I asked about the washer reservoir in the GTM MHI TT thread and they stated that the unit comes without a bracket. There is a reason that I haven't bought anything from GTM, even if they are the only ones with a given platform-specific solution. I will either deal without the washer reservoir (I have this long) or find another solution.

EDIT: There is more to it, but it just seems that you can't get a straight answer from a lot of people these days. That is why I am working with the companies and providers listed in my sig!

I got GTMs reservoir and installed it on the stock location with a custom bracket. Lots of space in there with the nismo bumper. Not sure how it would fit with other. To fill it up I routed a hose to the stock fill up location. I'll see if I can find pictures.

Thanks Ron. I am going to try to find another solution, but if I have to buy it from GTM, I will. If it were up to me, they would never get a dime of my money.

Ron 04-07-2013 12:39 PM

Wait, I feel like I am missing something? Why the hate towards GTM?

Ron 04-07-2013 01:11 PM

Hmm they met the ETA they gave me when I ordered the kit.
