stillen supercharger to vsr top mounted turbo
 

ok so got word from vsr motorsports that my tuner kit is almost rdy to be shipped.

once the kit is here the car goes to hills garage for the removal of the stillen kit and the install of the top mounted turbo and 900cc injectors

i am using the automotive 340lph pump and 25 row oil cooler
i am also using snow performance stg2 water/meth kit that i will need to modify to use on the turbo kit ( its a single spray unit )

as of right now the car is running fine with the stillen kit making 436rwhp/340rwtq @9psi
i did not get a chance to tune for the water/meth kit on the stillen

also going to get the go pro up and running to do a dash speedo meter shot of a pull with the stillen kit and then a pull with the turbo kit

Good luck OP! Although I never heard of company I hope u did ur research as there's already proven kits out there. Ur built motor and boost will make for a monster!

I think he means S&R top mount kit I remember this,maybe they changed there name.

What size turbo are you going to be going with ?

gt35r i believe thats a 62mm turbo should be good for my goal 500+ wheel hp

If you don't mind my asking, how much did the tuner kit cost? Seems like it has been impossible to find the price of their tuner kit.

I prefer the turbo z versus the supercharger set-ups. The efficiency of the turbo cant be matched by superchargers. So much easier to just turn your boost controller up as opposed to swapping pullies or impellers. Of course they have different power curves so it is somewhat a personal preference to what kind of power delivery you like.

Interesting to see they're setting ur kit up with a gt35r. I had a gt35r on my old g35. Although it was very efficient on the 35 curious to see how it will perform on the 370. Best of luck OP!

Lol no, that was a one off build top mount

I remember wanking it to their black powder coated kit a few months ago. The numbers were pretty stout and came on fast.

When are you getting this done. I'm going there may 14th

i am waiting on vsr motorsports me and my tuner are rdy
last i talked to them they were getting everything powder coated black to match the car..
also its the tuner kit that i am getting and as of right now i paid just a little under 6k for the tuner kit and powder coating
i got my 900cc injectors from sam and i am running a 340lph automotive fuel pump


ps saturday i got smacked by 2012 mustang gt he pulled on me pretty good so stillen has to go :icon17:

i am only looking for 550-600 rwhp so i should be able to get this with this kit

Do you have a built motor? Isnt 600 whp kind of pushing it. I was aiming for right around 500 whp.

You'd want to stay below 550 on the stock block.

I think his motor is built. thats one reason he is wanting more power.

So let me get this right. you have a stillen SC kit and a bolt on or stock 5.0 pulled you pretty good?

His motor is built , he wont have a problem reaching his goal of 550-600whp.

His motor is built AND he has meth... Beyond good!

This will be the first big single goin for big power. Can't wait to see the results.

I was actually going to go with this kit but since it's only in house installation I couldn't afford the transport

He had something cause those things are slow and heavy

2012 mustang traps 113 in the 1/4. Not super fast, but faster than our cars for sure.

Yea a stillen kit should be around 118 trap?

Still waitin on vsr motorsports on my kit

Did mange to get a few runs in at the track
Ya I need tires and driver mods

But I did manage to pull off

13.2 @ 116 with 2.3 60ft
the stock clutch hates speed shifting
and i had to slip the clutch alot to stop the wheel spin

Time for a clutch man now that your going turbo.

Built Motor and stock clutch once you get that turbo kit on it's not going to hold.

hey nissan 370 how did the stillen kit do with the meth kit? im trying to do the same thing and where did you get the meth kit?
