Stillen supercharger long term reports

The only other option is to have Stillen install it and custom tune it, I believe you can still get the CARB sticker that way. Sent from my iPhone using

Won't a Stillen authorized supplier get the kit with the sticker?

Truthfully I don't know, I live in a free state. What I was saying is I think you can get a custom tune that is CARB legal.

I STILLEN Authorized supplier sending you a complete kit will include the CARB Decal. The only way that is not included is if you purchase a tuner kit. If you want a custom tune then STILLEN is the only place you can take it and keep it CARB Legal.

Mark I'm just picking on you about the higher HP kit, I don't get why you take so much crap for your kit only making the power you advertise.

Our gun and emission laws do suck. I understand the emissions at least. The smog here gets pretty gnarly as is and without the emissions standards it would be unbearable. Just sucks for the population of tuners

We did some testing on it but I have not been updated on any progress at this time.

I know this thread is old but how are all you guys making that much? I made just with kit install, headers and test pipes, 356whp. That is crap if u ask me considering the amount the kit cost. I was on a dyno that is lowest reading dyno but even...I dont know what the issue is. And just of curiousity, stock internals ate good wih 9lb pulley?

What kind of dyno was this, maybe a mustang? Or are you running the old canned tune?

Well the first mistake is the headers, Second is the TP's, He's probally losing 2-3 PSI of boost, Sitllen themselves say dont run headers and TP's, Stock cats should be on the car and a custom tune is needed.

Definitely sounds like you need a retune. What shop did the install? ANMVQ is right. You are losing power with the test pipes. I would go back to factory cats (you can leave the headers).

Depending on where you got the kit, who did the install, and what is available in your area you might have some options for tuning.

I heard ecutek gas cracked vvel. Kits should be able to make more power now than before right if you get an ecutek tune.
