Just thought I would mention that other than this truly minor drive-ability issue the kit truly has been awesome - totally changed the character of the car. |

Well I got my kit installed last week and picked the car up on Thursday. Went on about a 500 mile round trip and the car and kit performed flawless. I dyno'd in at 413 WHP which is about what I was looking for. I instructed my tuner to set it up extra reliable.
I have plenty of clean power and the drivability is excellent. At normal cruising speeds you would never know any work had been done on the car. I cruised at speed ranges from 60 - 70 and 80 for long periods at a time. And of course slammed it down many times as well. I feel like I put the car through a pretty good series of driving conditions and she never missed a beat. Like a said, it drove flawless. I have to give credit to J Tran Studios in Houston Texas. Ron did a spectacular install and of course, Johnny is the master of tuning our cars. Taking it back in this Saturday to change the SC oil and I should be good to for long term, except that I will be back in before long for meth injection. Mainly for engine safety reasons. I will post some pictures tomorrow. I forgot to take them today.

TX2K is one of the biggest car shows in America where a lot of the big horsepower cars meet. It last for about 3-4 days and has a series of events.
The TX2K event started as a small grass roots Supra only event in 2000 and since that time has grown into a national car event that attracts hundreds of cars and thousands of people from across the United States. At the 2010 event, we had 26 of the states represented including visitors from other countries. In addition to a strong continued commitment from the Supra community, this event draws a large number of other car enthusiasts including Porsche’s, Viper’s, Lambo’s, Vette’s, etc… The event schedule follows the same basic format each year. It would be nice to see some high horsepower Forced Induced VQ's make it to the event.

I watched the install and tune, Ron & Johnny are a great team. Car is sick bro, hope to see you at the shop some day. My car has been sleeping there for some time, bought to go under the knife.

Just an update. My 2013 Stillen SC 370Z has settled down beautifully. For the last year the car has run flawlessly reliably. !2000 miles. It just runs, every day, like it was factory built with the SC.
I am very pleased. |
