RE7R01A: 400Nm (295lb)
RE7R01B: 600Nm (442lb)

Attempting to find what the modifications are for the revision B, but from all the material I am reading the transmission are the same minus the internals to beef it up for more TQ.

I have a fx37 awd and the towing capacity is 2000lb. Pretty sure it handles more power than the z. Plus it's awd so the transmission should be different.

Found this article, have to use the translate: 2009-01-0512Development of All New 7-speed AutomaticTransmission for RWD Vehicles_°Ù¶ÈÎÄ¿â

Has some more details, but was trying to acquire the information but not sure how on this website. Copying & pasting was taking to long, kept having to edit the size & spacing and the images were copying 100 at a time.

Digging around the FX35 has the same 7 speed as the Z, probably the revision B so it has higher TQ capacity and towing. I would imagine the FX37 is using the same one. I am curious if Nissan ever switched the 370z over to the rev B in later models.

So I wounder if us"X Coupe " guys have the revised B one?

brucelidat 09-16-2013 12:43 PM

Dreamer was just wondering if they might have made the switch. There has been no information as far as I know indicating that any change has been made though.

She's still at fast intentions right now. They are going to do a cooler, vb and flex plate. I'll post updates when they actually start working on my car.

So I'm getting my first Z on friday, and I plan on FI it with either a Stillen Supercharger or a GTM Stage 2 Supercharger haven't decided 100% yet. I'm wondering what else do I need to worry about other then getting my Tranny to a stage 4 from GTM. Like What engine mods do I need to buy to make sure my Engine doesn't blow up like most important mods to worry about I'm on about 5K budget after Tranny Upgrade and Supercharger.

You need to do a whole lot more homework if you think you're getting anything from GTM anytime soon. Start searching and reading.
