sooooo you're saying go blow the tranny then instead of OEM pay $7k for GTM stage4?

That might get a bit expensive by the 3rd or 4th transmission. :stirthepot:

haha i really just wanna see GTM put one of theirs to the test and find out the capabilities. then we can justify if it's worth the money.

if they have already i have yet to see details.

i know that one guy put one in his car but is N/A at the moment so that shows nothing important.

yea i've seen that but still he never jumped into the higher gears and got on it. all i wanna know is if you can do what you cant do with this upgraded transmission. from what i understand is that you cant get on boost in the higher gears without issues.

also i want to know how much this transmission can hold. you'd think GTM would test the upper limits so they can let customers know.

i have one in my N/A car with 4.08 gears/
it shifts really hard and fast .
it was really quick at the drag strip ( bone crunching shifts at 7800 to 8000 rpm).
car ran slower but the 1/8 and trap speed where very high.
problem is that the uprev *car not tuned * closed the throttle body's on me when it shifted. and it stalled coming of the line. car ran way to rich.
the 4 to 5 shift is night and day different.
my stage 2 Sc will be going on soon.

Any other upgrades to your transmission or engine?
Tranny cooler, oil cooler, VB upgrade, etc?

Do you guys think I'd have any issues running around 380-400 WHP for a few weeks before getting a trans cooler and valve body upgrade? By running, I mean driving hard.

I'm guessing the GTM kit is the go-to one? I found a Stillen kit, but the cooler looks a lot smaller.
