They offer the VK60 and VK56 engine swaps, when cows fly? lol. I emailed sam and haven't heard back from him in almost 2 weeks. spoke to him over the phone, but still i have unanswered questions. The other salesperson on the phone was mentioning more of a 2-3 month turnaround time, at $7000 nearly, thats absurd.

Stay far, far away from GTM right now. I won't hijack this thread, but the wait you were told is probably highly optimistic. Go read the MHI group buy thread.

Just saying F.I. needs to come out with there auto tranny upgrade kit soon. I'm getting tired of waiting to buy their TT set up then Tranny Upgrade... Almost at the point i'm just going to get the TT set up and say screw safety.

Give them a call they are in northern NJ and the guy SharpbyCoop had good luck with them for the most part, he did a built twin turbo g37 coupe. Can't beat the fact they are willing to warranty their work and promised 1 week turnaround time! I'm probably headed down the path of a built twin turbo g37xs sedan...exploring my options, just hope FI sheds some light on what they plan on selling sometime soon! the g37 boards are just radio silence.

Level Ten is a great transmission shop. I will be visiting them in the near future to beef up my 7AT Tranny. I had them work on my Old G35 transmission a while back.

Please let the community knows of your review when you do it later. Being on the other side of the world is no fun as everything has to be imported. So far there's no other choice for 7AT kit except GTM, hint to Fast Intention !!!.

2010 AT7
Stillen Supercharger Kit - 12 p.s.i. Pully
Brian Crower Stoker Kit
Stillen Dual Catback
Stillen Test Pipes
Road Magnet Springs
Tuned by AAM.
469hp 357ft-lbs
Stock tranny showing signs of low tranny fluid...should I be worried? I don't drive it, waiting for tow truck day to take it to Nissan, since you know, PIA fill procedure...signs started day after tuning, tune shop said my injectors couldn't handle the power (650cc) so it was putting my transmission in "limp mode." But some of my friends, and me, think its just low tranny fluid, but then again that cross-section of the transmission on page 1 was just a confusing rainbow to me, lol...signs are rough shifts and won't shift passed 3rd. Any info, plus maybe an upgrade path. I'm not planning on upgrading "go fast" parts any further than they are now...I just want it daily drivable, and I don't race, maybe speed a little, maybe leave lights a little fast as well, but nothing excessive, imo...I just want my car stable, and reliable, lol. Any info/help is awesome.

You're putting too much power through transmission that was never designed to handle it. Anybody with a manual will upgrade the clutch. Sadly...It may be low fluid this time but it'll be clutch packs next time. I put many transmissions and my last auto which is one of the reasons I am not looking forward to upgrading the 370z. Half of me loves the horsepower the other half does not want the headaches of losing a reliable daily driver.

A bit of power but also something to check is did your tuner adjust the transmission line pressure settings?
I actually do not have a write up on that and will work on those details. On your injectors, what percent of use are you at? You might be pushing the injectors to far and need to bump up to 750-800cc to give yourself some breathing room.

He's for sure pushing the injectors to hard upgrade to 750CC those are what I had. The tranny sounds like either the expected TRQ load values weren't updated or its really low on fluid. No tranny temp gauge? Should have one , An no cooler either, or oil cooler, Just didn't see them in you mods? Those are a MUST for us Auto guys

ouch, just ouch. More than likely it has something wrong dyno pulls tend to rip up stuff, and you are pushing a lot of power for a stock auto. the only trouble is that once you damage an auto transmission you can't fix it with a valve body upgrade. You should always do the trans upgrades before you start subjecting the car to big power to keep the damage from happening in the first place. You could try sending the valve body out to get built up, but since the trans has been damaged it may not fix the problem. I did this once with my fireturd's 700R4 started slipping 3rd did the valve body, and up having to rebuild it anyway.

gbrettin 07-30-2014 02:02 PM

There needs to be more upgrades for the 7AT. It's been out for a while and I'm surprised there are no upgrades other than GTM's 7 grand stage 4.

1slow370 07-30-2014 04:37 PM

They have the valve body too, and supposedly there is a faster turnaround on it now too.

I was told they are back to short turnaround on the valve bodies something like it goes out within a couple days after they receive it, this was as of a few weeks ago.

To be honest, after the horror story of that mhi kit group buy, I highly doubt I would go with Gtm for parts.
