If I lived in the States,
I would go exactly this way of F.I.

Enjoy the power that produced this kit.

I'm with my kit already fast, but the numbers
I read here are just amazing.

So guys to liven up this thread from the past few days ,I am currently awaiting the processing of my FI stage 2 kit. I have 93 octane available locally. I have a custom 3in. exhaust setup, lightweight pulleys/flywheel,and stage 3 clutch. Also have a custom methanol injection system installed and ready to be connected to the intakes. Gauges are wired and mounted.Anyone wanna take a shot in the dark on what would be some safe and realistic #'s as far as hp/tq/psi/? Also any additonal advice on , mods, parts or considerations would be appreciated too, thanks!

No idea..I HATE running for any type of spray, just not a fan of having a clog, crimp, empty tank or other malfunction instantly detonating my engine because uprev won't have a method to detect the flow of the spray and adapt to low/slow flow. But to each their own.

If it were me, I would lose the meth and tune on 93. 500whp is a no brainer on that setup.

That being said, 600whp is easy, I drive it daily on e85, not a problem. I would still advise on a fuel system. I think it is an absolute must, at least a return style correction or a fast 500-700. Just remember that the stock system is quite bad as it is.

Clutch, go with specialty z..handles my power with no joke and is daily drivable even in a 6 puck setup.

Just remember, in my opinion, there is no such thing as a safe number on meth injection mixed with boost on a na car. Its just adding way too many variables to an ecu that is blind to the fact.

Who you are going to have install and tune is also just as important!

I was hoping the methanol would be more of a safteyeasure for the motor rather than hazard. I have also purchased and installed a failsafe gauge/monitor
And I am compleltey installing myself , I have done all work on my car up to this point including a previous flywheel swap , so I'm decently inclided as far as mechanics go. I planned on getting a base map from FI and on going with one of their suggested tuners in Georgia , which im from the boot

Well talking to many shops who have installed the kit. It is much easier than other TT options, not to mention F.I.s reputation for fitment is unrivaled. I don't fault you one bit for trying to take if on.

Any of the recommended tuners should work.

I am just the kind of guy who likes to jump in the car, fire it up and drive. When u get home I park, wait 15, check the dipstick and move on. The meth is just not for me, the problem is you will have to have a dedicated tune for it. You have to manually engage this tune. Lets say you turn on the tune, not the meth...it's not that hard, but that's why I went e85. Understandable, it isn't for everyone.

I just don't like variables. The only way to safety is better tune and better fuel. At least to me.

There is nothing wrong with using meth as a safely measure. If you want to keep it simple with meth you can tune your car on 93 and just add meth on top of it. You could also have another tune that takes advantage of the meth by advancing ignition timing.
elperuano and SS_Firehawk like this.

^agreed. Its just like tuning with nitrous. Just keep watch on ur meth system and make sure it's full. That's all you have to check.

Well I have a custom 14 gallon tank so it shouldn't be a problem to keep some solution available lol

Meh. I just like simple things. The fewer lines, pumps, injectors and tanks the better. Its just me.

We are building to top 1000....the motor should not see a drop of meth, coming from the gt500 community, it has caused so many more problems than it has ever been worth.

Just my. 02. By all means, go nuts tho, nothing wrong with it.

Don't let me naysay you. Everyone told me my engine would fail with the numbers we run...I would suspect peak numbers to be similar to what's e85 guys run. Stage 2 will likely support up to 800up as well. Its truly a great kit. Hey when a turbo kit can help push a couple 2860s to 700...it is quite amazing.

Best of luck and welcome brotha, no matter what you do, it will be a absolute force. Just chill on the torque....haha I had to!

Everyone thought you were running pump gas...
No one knows the limit of e85. I think that's prolly why.

Meth is a great addition, if you are the type to worry about things tune the car off meth that way if anything goes wrong with the system the car wont care. Its just like tunning a car on 91 but only running 93 in it to play it safe.

Unfortunately, you can't tune it that way. Meth is a fuel, so when you inject it, you change the AFR. As such, the tune has to take account of the meth.

This is the reason you for having two tunes one for straight 93 and the other for meth.
