Maybe this isnt the place for this..... But what are you guys upgrading? Im hoping just my ID1000's and 345lph out of my 350 will acccomodate E85 at 6,000ft elevation to 525whp/tq. I need to push about 17% more fuel to get the same numbers as you sea level guys. Too bad my cosworth rails wont fit up? Have we found limits on the stock ones yet?

Anyone had them for more than three months with hard track time? I have heard nothing but good things about all FI products but a turbo is a finely machined...machine. I'm a little hesitant to put that much money in to a first gen product.

I also upgraded to 1000cc injectors, aeromotive pump, their oil cooler (easier to get theirs and sell my current cooler as an entire unit rather than fiddle with lines, etc), gtx2867s, test pipes, 3" cbe, eboost2. Basically everything. My thought process was, why buy from 10 different places to (maybe...doubtfully) save a few hundred bucks in the end. Just trying to contain my excitement now. But like I told them back when we first started talking about this: I'm in for the long haul. Take the time you need to do it right, like you always do. |

Alternately, there are some knock-off turbos out there on eBay and what not. You wouldn't want those. There are also lots of turbocharger mix-masters that mix and match components to compile their own custom brew turbos. Some of them I wouldn't go near, and some of them I would prefer over the OEM version. This FI kit appears to use Garret turbochargers, with upgraded Tial turbine houses. This is pretty much the top tier for turbochargers. |

For fuel system with E85? ID1000 and Aeromotive 11142 fuel pump and my fuel pump install kit, and you're setup for 550-600rwhp, pending dyno type and tuning "aggression". Ive been on the setup for 2 years giving it daily abuse and I havent seen any problems. We are working on our finishing our full fuel system upgrades now for those of you prefer to go big or go home... should compliment the FI kit quite nicely! Feel free to PM me anytime, I dont want to flood Tony's thread with my stuff!

Basically the numbers the prototype made.
Anywhere close to ~550whp on e85 and I'll be more than happy for now. Hopefully on less boost but we'll see. I went ahead with upgraded turbos to give myself some headroom if (when) i take it further... And yes to your second question obviously |

Alright Ladies and Gents, had to fly out here to Cali myself and see the shop and TT 370 prototype myself. I've had a great working relationship with Tony over the past few years as an owner of his exhausts and have been itching to come out and see the new shop since the move about a year ago. The TT 370z prototype just put it over the edge to finally make it happen, and here I am!
After seeing the TT KIT itself in person, INSTALLED in the car as well as OUTSIDE (parts individually), let me tell you that this kit is no joke. The bends & sizing of the piping vs other TT kits on the market, the location of the piping, the dimensions of the piping/intercooler & fitment, the craftsmanship of the manifolds, the location of the turbos/BOV's, all the way down to the location of the Oil Filter....SERIOUSLY, IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THEN THIS!!! And I haven't even began to touch on once the car is turned on and running, the sound, the performance, how absolute smooth the car runs. Not to mention, they haven't even completed this thing to its full potential yet!!!! ANYone even considering going TT, IMHO, there's just not even another option out there after seeing this. If you are at all even considering another, I highly suggest you see this kit in person. You'll leave here hitting yourself in the head for even CONSIDERING another kit! |
