Where is everyone staying at?

We have 2 rooms in the lodge and a 2 bedroom cabin. We are bringing 4 customers out with our entire crew this year, so we needed the extra beds. I will keep the amount of cars and car types top secret... for now!

Ok, I'm going to hunt someone down with a F.I. turbo kit at Zdayz and beg for a ride on the dragon, preferably a 7AT.

djtodd 02-07-2015 12:56 PM

Come to road atlanta the weekend before and you can ride shotgun :)

As of right now, cycy89 is the only 7AT. His car is currently tucked away at our shop. He will have it back long before ZDayZ, but I don't know if he can make the trip. When we saw each other last weekend he sounded 50/50 on it.

There will be between 7-10 6MT's on hand this year for you to drive in.

Rusty 02-07-2015 10:39 PM

Tell him that there is no rooms at the lodge. I had to find another place. :(

reldas 02-08-2015 07:49 AM

so sad this doesn't fit RHD cars :( but i will take the 7AT mods and get stillen supercharger instead unless fast intentions manages to make it fit on a RHD car in the next year or 2

Tony you can bring a TT kit and the 7at upgrades. I'll provide the test car ;)

cycy89 02-08-2015 07:03 PM

I would love to go to zdayz but I would have to trailer or ship the car over due to E85. So we'll have to see!

djtodd 02-08-2015 07:05 PM

Nah! A few spare gas cans and you'd be fine :)

the touch of black on the front of the engine and the manifolds looks sexy. you doing the same with the charge pipes and intercooler?

that was always the way I was leaning if I went with boost.

very nice. I personally would go black for the stealth/sleeper look.

then again I roll with straight pipes so that typically gives some stuff away without even seeing the car lol

After a long week of 16+ hour days, they are finished with the install. They are set to dial in the tune this week. Carl from MA Motorsports is tuning on their Dyno Dynamics. As we all know those dyno low but are great for tuning. After she is tuned, they plan on taking her to a local Dyno Jet for the glory numbers. I for one am hoping that they will push it to 700 RWH for the number. Below are the links to his social media outlets.

Thanks bro, much appreciated. I can't take the credit though, Tony said, "let's paint all the piping black, trust me, you won't be disappointed" (not exact quote) I said " I trust you, let's do it". So glad I did!!!

Are you guys working on Forsberg's drift car, or one of his personal vehicles?

It's a car that was built for the Drift Garage series. It will compete in exhibition around the world.

Fellow F.I. TT owners... Still on the fence between the Fast-500E and the regular Fast-500. For those running E85, whats your mileage like? About how many miles can you get out of one tank? Main reason I am asking is because my old man's GT-R burns through it quicker then you can imagine and since we dont have a lot of E-85 stations it may be more trouble then its worth. Would love to hear from a few of you guys.

Blake,

Thanks for the phone call. Good decision on the E85 route. Once ECUTek releases the Flex Fuel, we will all be smiling ear to ear.

TerribleOne, it depends on city vs highway miles. When I drove back to San Jose from Specialty Z, I got 300 miles on a full tank. Since then I have been driving mainly city and occasional freeway, and it burns realllllly quick. Last time I checked I probably got like 185 maybe 200 miles from a full tank from just mainly city driving. I'll definitely start keeping track to get a better gauge.

Also, I'm still breaking in my engine that Sebastian built for me. I think I was the first Z with the F.I. TT kit to bend two rods on the dyno lol. So far the kit is great, just waiting to get to that 1500 mile break in mark so I can really romp on it.

at what power level did it break?

Hotrodz 02-10-2015 09:47 PM

If I had e-85 any where close to me I would go that way because fuel economy is not what it's about if you play a lot lol. I can get e85 delivered for $4.25 a gallon and 100 octane for just under $10 per gallon. I was hoping ecutek would have come through while my Z was at SZ, but it didn't so I went with a 100 octane tune and I have no regrets as my torque numbers are stupid on 100 oct. I need rear tires :p and now I get to think about what is next. I should have never taken a drive in Seb GTR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

djtodd 02-10-2015 09:56 PM

3..ish mpg if I'm lucky at the track :)

It didn't break, it bent! I'm not sure what the power it was at but let's face it the quality control on mass produced parts can be highly variable, I can't believe it has not happened more. The reality is I see and hear about more issues NA car than FI Zs!!!

cycy89 02-10-2015 10:19 PM

There's tons of E85 stations near my house so my only concern is how to get her home from cali :(
