The G community should also be getting excited about this kit as well, there just happens to be one sitting at the shop now...:driving:

News of that made it all the way to Canada already. Must be a big deal. :D

Hotrodz 12-09-2014 08:46 PM

Yup, I think it's good to have quality choices....especially when one of them is Fast Intentions!

I personally think the torque converter and drive plates are the weakest parts. Besides that the planetary gears inside and the internal bands should hold pretty hefty horsepower and torque. It is basically the same Jatco 7AT used on the Infiniti QX80 and the Nissan Patrol that has a 8000 lbs towing capacity, Also, modifying the valve body with the Transco kit will absolutely help in shifting speed and response.

Ok, just took the sister for a ride around the town, these were her first words: "that is just retarded!" There was also an "oh my god" after lighting up the wheels in 2nd and not letting off until I got to 4th. Seal of approval from the sister, check. Many more thank you's to follow F.I.

F.I. like you know is top notch in what they sell, and back their stuff up.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to check it out one of these days.

G, I will be at the meet on the 20th, so you will have the opportunity to see what looks like stock, unless you know boosted otherwise. Other than my F.I. logo on the car you would have no idea it's boosted...except for the awesome intercooler. Hope to see you all on the 20th.

Kevin, thank you, today was the first day I could fully appreciate what F.I. did for my lady. She def had the opportunity to stretch her legs today. And she did so with authority.

It was great meeting you too, I'm sure I will see you again...for good things

Constant rain is giving me withdrawals.......r888s are actually great in the rain.

Pustons rods and block are here! Tony, we gotta do some shopping soon bud.

Merry Christmas all!

Oh and drove the car in real bad rain last week. Solid as a rock and my filters were in great shape. Not a single issue in 10 months of installation at my power...he'll of a kit boys!

exsanity 12-18-2014 01:13 PM

I want one so bad!! >_<;

Hotrodz 12-18-2014 06:45 PM

Hmmm....there is no want...Just do!!!

Terrible you aren't alone...this hurry up and wait game is making me like act like a nine year old at Christmas.

Faceglide is spot on, I will be at 12 months when I get my ride back from Seb and it only keeps getting better. Let's put it this way, my brother is a die heart muscle car guy. He is right in the middle of building a 69 Camaro SS that will be in the 600 hp range and after we spent time together a couple weekends ago. He was like, "I think I might just sell the Camaro and get a Z and boost it! You car is to much fun...

I was really hoping to see a F.I. TT Z at Zdayz 2014 but didn't see you guys anywhere. I'm looking forward to seeing the kit in 2015.

djtodd 12-18-2014 07:56 PM

Yeah that was my fault. Real life getting in the way.

There was one there in 2013 though :)

TerribleONE 12-18-2014 08:17 PM

Did someone say Zdayz? :excited:

djtodd 12-18-2014 08:18 PM

'15 is gonna be the bomb

RoyaltyB 12-18-2014 08:19 PM

You know, the cost to get to ZDayZ should be factored into the kit and supporting mods, should just be a package deal :D LOL

djtodd 12-18-2014 08:20 PM

Lol ^this. I think they may actually just rent an entire transport rig

Think that is the plan and goal.

Yeah, he's selling it like its the F.I. TT Kit. LOL.

Trying to make sure we experience it, but also to make sure F.I. TT Kits are majorly represented

djtodd 12-18-2014 09:25 PM

If you've never been to Zdayz...you just can't understand. Something you must experience firsthand :)

Hotrodz 12-18-2014 09:37 PM

It sounds and from what I have seen on the forum, it looks epic. Tony was so pumped after his first one and last year after he got back he told me straight up you just need to go...save the f'n money and if you just do it one time it's worth it because it is a buck list kind of experience. Believe me I want to play bad!!!!

Hey Tony, nice to see all the good comments here. Seems your reputation and quality of build are still top notch!
I was just reading some VSR threads and it still looks like hit or miss over there. Glad I didn't let them boost my car, hell just getting the uprev was a scheduling nightmare. Guess all they really care about is the Porsche track car.
Congrats!

Thanks for the positive feedback. I don't know the guys over at VSR personally, however I have only heard positive things.

Not quite a bash fest but growing problems or priorities for sure!
Nice to see some of your kits pushing 600 plus!
Again, kudos!

Spooler 12-23-2014 09:37 PM

Hmm, sounds like I need to attend Zdayz in 2015. It's not too far for me.

If you can make it, you have to! The people, scenery, Dragon, cars and fun times is what makes this event. This will mark our 3rd year attending and 2nd as a sponsor. We will be there in numbers in 2015 and hope to meet you.
