We are! Patience my friend. When it comes, it will be with a bang.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you the news will be delivered in 1 day or 1 week or 1 month. I promise that we are doing our best to deliver a product that is second to none.

Thanks.

It is soon. Just waiting on a few parts that are inbound.

brucelidat 10-24-2014 07:03 PM

Oh man, if you guys really do get CARB approved and this 7AT upgrade isn't super expensive, my bank account might be in big trouble.

KaienZ34 10-24-2014 07:18 PM

I'm in for all that, I don't need the carb approve but I know lots of cool peeps that need it.

expired 10-24-2014 08:28 PM

what is a realistic ballpark figure for installation of this kit at a recommended shop?

djtodd 10-24-2014 08:38 PM

Do you have supporting mods in place already? Clutch, cooling, etc?

assuming a bone stock z. of course the clutch, etc would be upgraded and install prices would be figured out as well (on top of the kit) but just looking for a ballpark figure... what would somebody be realistically looking at in terms of starting with a stock z and walking out with a TT FI z (full version, not tuner).

if you happen to know relative pricing on the extra necessaries as well (clutch, etc) that would be helpful as well but if not, its fine.

djtodd 10-24-2014 09:17 PM

*****Fast Intentions "Twin Turbo Kit" is here*****

I'm sure one of the certified installers can give more accurate numbers, but I would assume somewhere in the realm of 25 hours of labor for the kit. Extras will be over and above that of course, but with the motor out it's the best/most cost effective time to do them.

expired 10-24-2014 09:25 PM

valid point in terms of the motor already being pulled. thank you very much for your input.

Hotrodz 10-24-2014 09:41 PM

I would plan for at least 10K on parts and labor over and beyond the price of the kit, but not less than 6 to do it right and you want to do it right!

That's wisdom right there. I've got $6-8k above my kit in 'others'

brucelidat 10-24-2014 10:26 PM

This was a few months ago before they devleoped the 7AT support mods, but Tony told me 18k was a safe number for parts, labor and some AT upgrades. Not sure if that's till the case now that they have something close to developed, though.

Absolutely on point. To add to that, F.I. will make sure you do it right for whatever your goals are and they will not have you spend more than your build requires.

faceglide 11-07-2014 08:01 PM

Another week, another 200 miles, 13psi and loving life my friends! Weather cooled up just enough to feel a nice jump in response too! I just cannot say enough!

the wide r888s are blowing my mind right now. Amazing amazing tire. Great wet manners too. They really are putting up a great fight against my 550+wtq(HEY shouldn't my motor have popped by now?!? j/k!), they stay pretty soft in the colder temps too, I am truly impressed.

The mission for 1k+hp is in action my friends, block is purchased, crank is coming next and Tony has me dreaming in an exciting direction with this car. I couldnt be happier to have Tony and Seb@SZ taking the Z to an insane level and "playing with the horses" next year!

Stay boosted and stay SAFE my friends. This will be an exciting winter, no doubt about it!

PS: just installed some status racing Ring seats, omfg, having that direct connect to the car(no more sitting on seat springs), makes the acceleration of the car twice as intense. Threw the wife in the passenger and jesus the screams! God I love this car!

faceglide 11-07-2014 08:03 PM

I forgot to mention, NOT A SINGLE ISSUE YET, no CEL, no hesitiation, no smoke, nothing, drives like stock, if stock was 630hp/550ft lb car with a loud whoosh every time I let off the pedal and insane spool up/down noises haha. Thanks so much Tony!

Super Werty 11-07-2014 08:56 PM

Put up some new pics of your tires!

Yes Tony spent HOURS working on a set of instructions.

Buy one so we can see what those cams do for the boosted guys! :stirthepot:
