I think tony could probably amend that to "fueled by passion...and lots of caffeine. "

Brother,

My mind has 9,999 things going through it at all times! Dan has 10x that amount.

We greatly appreciate the compliment and look forward to equipping that beautiful 2014 NISMO later this year.

Thanks, Tony

Mini Update,

1 a.m. PST here on the West Coast. Burning that midnight oil as we call it! Plugging away on our Installation Manual. I am about 50 hours in at this point. Making great progress but still at least 50+ hours from being completed. Damn this is a ton of work but we fully grasp how important this manual is for ease of installation to the shops and end consumers installing our TT Kit.

Side note...Had a very productive phone meeting with Charles from CJM earlier this evening. Looking forward to the future!

Ok, back to the manual...

Goodnight!

Tony

Interested to see what you guys got planned. Charles is near me so a collaborative project between you two would be a big

I actually need a local 370z for a few days soon to test fit and photo some adjusted fuel system parts on. My Z has had too much related stuff changed to use it for final fitment or photos.

Details on this adjusted fuel system parts?

I dont want to take this thread too off-topic but I will run it off real fast. The S0 kit is going through a redesign to make it an easier and cleaner setup for cars that don't need a bigger system. The S1 kit is designed in its theory and will be built within a couple weeks and needs a car for fitting. The S2 kit has had minor adjustment to the billet rails to make it easier to run the hoses to them, the hard-pipes have been re-designed to have nicer bends and fit better, and an optional external filter has been added to it to accommodate the cars that have had the factory fuel filter cut-out to fit the Walbro 485 pump.

Please PM me if you'd like more details, or we can start another thread. Or I can start taking pictures and update my fuel system thread!

That's what I get for not paying attention all winter...

So the GT2860RS has replaced the GT28RS that the product brochure shows?

Any idea what the HP/performance differences are between that and the GT2860RS and the GTX2867R and then again the HTA2868? I thought that between 1 and 2 you were giving up a small amount on the top, is that still true? What about between 2 and 3?

Thanks.

About 1800 miles in, the CJM/Fast Intentions fuel kit is running perfect. Just got in, took the car out, fuel press is solid, no hesitations, no hassle.

AND ITS GOING TO GET BETTER!??!?! WTF?!?!!?! Haha, you guys are in for a treat.

Was great to get back in my car...missed it soooo much. Was fun! Thanks FI/spec Z/CJM...this thing continues to blow my mind. New tires were waiting for me too, lol....time to burn some stickers!

faceglide 03-13-2014 10:27 PM

GT28RS and 2860RS are the same turbo. Disco Potato btw. Tony can 'splain the rest.

Saw your name on the presale list, that's awesome I'm excited for you. F.I. Looks to have held up it's reputation as a good company to support our cars. Definitely want to go turbo in the future and GTM had my interest until I saw what these guys are doing. Plus isn't F.I. here in Cali? Anyway congratulations, can't wait to hear what your impressions are.

Make sure to check out the review thread for the FI system. Lots of details there. Now we just need the other guys that have had it installed to post their review. No pressure guys...LOL, I know you are too busy enjoying the car.

Arrvaxx 03-14-2014 07:53 PM

Ice and snow is melting fast...sun...racing season starts this weekend...and no Z in the garage! Patience Brian! Patience! Haha.

Oh that request for more posts in the review thread was not for me, I'm more than already sold :D I was sold after reading the first two reviews and my visit to FI. Not to mention just enough videos of the kit in action and a ride in faceglides car. :driving:

Honestly, pretty sure anyone could be sold just seeing Tony and Dan at work in the shop and listening to them just talk about the kit.

faceglide 03-16-2014 03:13 AM

I am so lagging on mine(review), apologies.....wife and I needed a good vacation and we had some rain. Wanted to wait until my first oil change before I made my review...well that's out of the way so just need to wrap it up here.

Loving the V1 by the way Royal...that traffic monitor filter is a MUST for my area(every stupid 1/2 mile has a damn speedinfo).

Put some miles on the new tires and did a few launches on the new setup.....much better, Monday they will be zero cambered and good to go. It shall be a fun summer!

Teaser....of the sound fail. Now imagine that much fail for about 30 minutes. At least it was a fun drive. Really do love sticking the Gopro on the hood, the looks I get are priceless.

Do you have hero 2 or 3? If you have 2, invest in a mic for about $60, game changer.
