UPDATE,

RoyaltyB, Congratulations on taking over TopGunz spot @ #006. We look forward to getting the kit on your car later this year. jaggers, thank you for your recent order. We appreciate both of your orders very much.

As for everyone else on the list, below is an overdue update. We are very close to having this thing at full blown production. We are currently finalizing the installation manual along with all down pipe and exhaust configurations.

For our 4 current in house installs...

djtodd, as you already know from our phone conversation this morning, your TT Kit is installed and we are currently working on your E85 capable fuel system.

cycy89, your engine and transmission should be completely out by tomorrow evening. From there your Trans goes off to have some magic done to it! While we wait for it to come back we will use our time efficiently and install your TT Kit.

mfeinst, your 100 hours of wiring is almost complete. :rofl2: New brakes are on and they look great. The goal is to put fluids in and fire her up tomorrow evening or Thursday morning. We are hoping to be on the dyno Friday (if that works with Sebastians schedule).

Arrvaxx, your car has arrived and is cleaned and covered. I will have your engine and Trans out by the end of the day Saturday (maybe sooner).

As for our "ship outs" and finished builds, you have all been a pleasure to work with. Words cannot describe how patient you have all been throughout this process and for that, the wait is just about over!

Hey Tony, you should make a list showing how much hp your kits have put out in total. It's gotta be like 10,000+ hp by now

Which is roughly equivalent to how much car joy he has brought into being.

I can appreciate that. I'm going to be the only one posting my numbers once I have my kit dyno tuned.

Hey Tony,

Great job! Can't wait to see your 7at "magic" on cycy car :excited:

This will be what pushes me over the edge and jump in

I have been fighting going to a C7 but like the idea more of keeping my ZR and giving it some booooost! Would be a cool sleeper

Yea the turbos and BOVs really sound killer when mounted on the front splitter!

Yes they do! As your videos have aptly demonstrated

cycy89 03-08-2014 06:38 PM

I have a mic I use it for car videos and I can mount it anywhere on the car, I'm planning on mount it in between the BOVs and close by the turbos and waste gates, zero wind noise! can't wait to do my video review with some sweet sounds!

cycy89 03-09-2014 11:33 AM

Tony, do you think I should drive 1500mi straight to tx right after the turbo install? Or should I tow it back?

Im sure it will be fine but as with any major modification you should always take things easy at first..aka dont be in boost your entire trip back. I would drive if I were you and pull over every now and then to check things out.

:iagree:

I mean, you're the first guy with this kit on the 7at. Ease your way into it until you get back home. On the off chance something lets go, you do not want to be in the middle of nowhere waiting for a tow truck.

Hotrodz 03-09-2014 03:00 PM

You should drive back...whichever route you take, you have friends along the way. I'm about 300 from FI on I-40. The road is long and straight with little traffic or any other unwanted company. The drive will give you a chance to check things out at your heart desire. Also you will be able to give Tony & Dan some awesome feedback on the kit as you make your way home! There are a lot of folks waiting to hear what you have to say.

TerribleONE 03-09-2014 03:02 PM

I think you would have no issues trying to drive back! Go for it!

You will be good to go to drive straight through. I am sure you will break the drive up in to 3-500 mile days so you do not wear yourself out. That being said, the members here make some valid points. Do not go balls to the wall, especially in a remote area where there is no support in the event that something happens.

We will have tested your car and trans for many miles over a few week period before your drive back. Once we are done putting our miles on it, we will do a post inspection of the entire car on one of our lifts to ensure everything is prepped and 100% perfect for your drive home. We have done this with every car that has left our shop.

Thanks, Tony
