Is Alfonso another Debbie downer?

TopgunZ 02-15-2014 10:51 AM

Yeah. It just doesnt contribute to the knowledge of the community when 95 percent of what some people say is their "opinion", which is mostly negativity, versus facts and data.

gbrettin 02-15-2014 01:45 PM

Faceglide - Do you happen to have any videos of your car running E85?

faceglide 02-15-2014 06:30 PM

Not yet. Was planning on doing some today but it's a tad too wet to want take the thing out.

Will definitely do some on ramp 0 to 60 four funsies soon enough.

Here it is noobs....

Ignore the warning (tire sensor)

This is 91.

Running TT, Going up to 180MPH and Down to 50MPH, 60 Mile Run in Total. From Fontana to Sylmar. This is what I see when pushing the car hard (but not too hard, shifting around 5500RPM not 7400RPM)

That's Right, 26MPG Boosted! Fast Intentions Turbo Kit is SAVING ME MONEY! LOL I was never able to get this on N/A running car this hard.

Lol, you can't use that. It's not close to that because your injectors are so much larger. Sorry, but you're the noob right now :tiphat:

Hotrodz 02-15-2014 09:17 PM

Mine reads the same and I get the flashing low tire sign too and then it goes away. My actual mileage is about 21mpg (using the odometer) at 80mph. The best I ever got NA was 26, but mostly it ranged from around 24!

:iagree: Exactly right, that thing measures the fuel injector pulses not actual mpg.

faceglide 02-16-2014 01:53 AM

Too funny, that trollface.

Hopefully weather is nice for president's day. Hope to take the wife up North, if it's nice, I'll make her hold the camera as I scare the living jeebus out of here. Just happy to finally be caught up on some sleep!

Stay safe friends, happy boosting!

Cell 02-16-2014 06:56 AM

If you are boosted and still get gas mileage close to stock then you are not enjoying it. I was getting 10-13mpg with the turbo kit. Stock I was getting 15-16mpg.

Hotrodz 02-16-2014 09:13 AM

I get less mpg in my Z commuting back and forth to work than I do in my 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel!!

cycy89 02-16-2014 10:10 AM

I get less mpg in my fx37 lol. I drive just as hard as I drive the z, plus it's awd, heavier and less aerodynamic. So ya not an ideal daily lol.
Edit: sorry about the off topic.

You mean like this...

Naturally, the logo will be towards the bottom of the core so you will actually see it when the bumper is on, but this gives you the idea.

Thanks, Tony

Tony:

What size are the Tial units that you use on the IC? I may consider switching to your unit to replace my Greddy IC. I am looking to free up some space in the fender wells.

cycy89 02-17-2014 12:01 AM

something like this maybe?

I can do whatever you want my man! You have it backwards though. We will flip it around and make it look real good. Proportioned in proper size!

Hey buddy, hoping to see you out @ZDayZ this year! We are planning something big that will hopefully materialize for the event. As for the IC, they are TiAL Q BOV's.

Thanks, Tony

cycy89 02-17-2014 12:35 AM

SWEET! Thanks Tony! Hopefully my bumper will arrive before the car is done.

cycy89 02-17-2014 12:49 AM

It'll be painted. And I'm taking the spare parts home when I pick up the car

Awesome! I have the same ones except in red. So I should be able to use your IC with my current setup. I might make it out to ZDayZ, but there are some obstacles that I am attempting to mitigate.

TopgunZ 02-17-2014 06:51 PM

Hello all,

With Tony's permission I am posting "for sale" in the thread.

I am in the #6 spot (Topgunz) for the Fast Intentions Turn Key Twin Turbo kit. #3, 4 and 5 are already done so I am 3rd in line technically.

I have had a recent change in plans with my build due to unforeseen circumstances which have arisen.

So I am looking to sell my place in line for a discount in order to move it quickly.

$5,000 has already been paid toward the kit. I am selling this position for $4,000.

I have spoken to Tony about this and he is ready to transfer the receipt into someone else’s name.

Since I was in the top 10 to purchase this it will come with Up-rev and a free tune!

This is basically $1000 off the price of the kit plus the free tune.

You may contact me at 701-306-1779 with any questions or concerns.

Thank you,

~Aaron

Sold! Phone call, half an hour after the post. Goes to show how in demand this kit is. For obvious, proven reasons.

Tony is awesome! Incredible customer service. We had many, many conversations and Tony spent alot of time with me answering every question i had pertaining to his kit, and non relative to his kit.

You guys are in good hands.

cycy89 02-17-2014 09:18 PM

Should have bought it for my fx lol. Congrats to whoever got it!

Anyone in the market would be STUPID to pass this up. Pre-order price, free tune, and $1000 off...where was I?

Looks like it warms up tomorrow, guess it's time to do some vids, photos and a review.

I have about 800 miles on the kit. FLAWLESS, not one noise, temperature, smell, wire, anything out of place. Got the car up and ZERO leaks oil, fuel, intake or exhaust. It is absolutely PERFECT. The fitment on this kit is ungodly, the time put into it has really shown off. Thanks again guys, this car has passed with flying colors.

Best purchase I have EVER made for a car. I am fully confident I can DD this car for a real long time. Took it on a good night cruise with the wife, made a dinner stop and a movie. 200+ miles, starts up perfect.....taking it to work tomorrow, won't be a problem.

Did I mention Tony and Dan are great guys.....but you all probably know that by now.:tiphat:

PS: there's already another 630+rwhp FI TT z out there, lol it is wayyy too easy with this kit. :driving:

Tony told me about this today and by the time I logged onto the forum guys were already in line :roflpuke2: I'm kicking around the idea of pulling my custom GTM stage 3 kit and getting one if these. $1000 of sure would have helped

Once everything is finalized, I will post the updated list tomorrow with the new name. We also sold another kit last Friday. I will update that as well.

Thanks, Tony

Stormin Norman,

Great to hear that you are enjoying the kit. It is like a fine wine, it will only get better with age!

The other TT car you are referring to is dirty_shoez...Did I mention that he made that number through an exhaust system that went to single 3" from the Y Pipe back! We had a good chat last night and he now has our dual 3" on order.

djtodd is in the house all the way from South Carolina for our Stage 4 setup with a crazy fuel system. No more fuel starvation and E85 compatible. This one should be leader of the pack. For a while at least...

Thanks, Tony

It was great talking with you today. I followed up with Seb@SpecialtyZ. We are confident that we can work with your timeline. We will both be calling you tomorrow to discuss possible ways of moving forward.

Thanks, Tony
