Keeping in mind that you can probably be in 4 different gears at the various speeds you mention, the car will likely feel very different in each gear. Check the dynos for an idea of boost/torque/power onset as that will give you an idea of responsiveness.

Correct, to give you a general idea. Speed is not your factor you will use to determine power output, it will be rpm.
S the question might be better, in what rpm range will you feel the turbo? Is there any drop off of power in the upper rpm range?

Most of these can be answered with a dunk graph, if the HP line goes flat near the end or drop then you know the power is maxed or a lose is occurring. Boost is usually printed below the graph along the same rpm range to compare. This way you can view boost (how soon you feel the turbo) v HP/RPM.

I know the 0-60 doesn't matter considering the amazing quarter mile time. I also want to stress this is not a troll question trying to find negatives. I'm very impressed with this kit and you guys have been one of the most honest vendors in the game. But i'm just curious for the hell of being curious... Thanks. :tiphat:

With most system at about 3000rpm it starts to kick in....then your eyes roll back and you have a quick body shake. That's when you know it's kicked in...

I have attached a dyno chart below that shows how responsive the low end is in our kit. At 3,500 rpm's the car is making 410 lb ft of torque on less than 8 psi. I just took this point because it is still considered "low end". To be quite honest, the kit produces a smoke show with the tires. Now keep in mind we did this with the TiAL .86 A/R. If we were to step down to the TiAL .64 A/R the kit would be even more responsive. It is hard to believe in our minds because we have the car here and see first hand how hard it spools. Once customers start installing it for themselves and getting a chance to drive their cars, they will understand exactly what we are talking about.

There is no drop off in power at any rpm. The car plants you in your seat from the moment you take off until rpm red line.

Thank you for the positive feedback about our products and our company. We are committed to giving you all only the best quality and performance in the same package. No gimmicks, come ons or smoke screens. What you see is what you will make! In fact, most of you who have access to 93 octane should perform slightly better then our test car. Your tuner will be able to add an additional degree or two of timing to your tune which will increase the performance. We are conservative with our ignition timing and 91 octane. You have to be to keep things safe.

I think that this covers it all for now. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Thank you, Tony

That's a lot of power right off the bat... This thing is monstrous and HP just keeps getting abundantly better throughout the range. I can only imagine the power it would produce on a rebuilt engine and 14psi. Shhhyyyyyyt!!!

Look at the chart @5200rpm :excited:

We are currently exploring the option for 49 state smog compliance as well as CARB compliant. The process is not going to be short and there is no guarantee that the approval will come. We will keep you all updated throughout the process. That being said, from day #1 the kit was designed to meet CARB requirements.

Tony and the Fast Intentions staff have built a very good kit. This kit with the Tial housing V band housings have such huge potential. With the GTX 2867r turbos I have seen them make well over 700 whp on GTR's I believe this can be done on a 370z as well.

Below is a graph of a GTR with these same turbos just to give everyone one a idea this is on E85

Just got off the phone with Tony, absolutely a stand up guy! Even as I explained that I wasn't 100% ready to purchase the kit yet, we still spoke for about 20 minutes. That wouldn't of happened with any other company. They would of litterally said to call back when I had the money. I am super excited about the connections he is working on especially in my part of the world. As for me I am hoping early next year to be able to purchase the kit headache free. Always a pleasure when dealing with F.I.

Thank you for sharing the graph. It shows what these turbochargers can really do when turned up. I have no doubt that we can achieve these numbers on a Z with our TT kit. Every single aspect of our kit is designed for maximum efficiency and it shows in our numbers vs. psi level.

All of that being said we've put so much time, detail, and thought into the design and manufacturing of this kit to give you the very best quality and performance available. Obviously, there is TT competition out there. When designing our TT kit, our intentions were not to compete against any current option, but rather to stand alone in its own class. Ultimately, we want to offer you the high end option. We've chosen to use and manufacture only the best parts, which comes at a price. We realize that our products may not fit into everyone's budget, but we will never compromise our quality. We manufacture the way we do because we're passionate about our what we put out there and creating the very best for our customers. Build quality, fitment, performance, and customer satisfaction is the cornerstone of what FI stands for.

Thank you, Tony

Big props to Tony, totally made this kit digestible and...WIFE APPROVED!!!

Will be getting the whole deal done at F.I. in the fall/early winter. There will be many pics vids and car pr0n coming out of me around then.

All this time to ponder.....i won't be surprised if I step into a 3" exhaust, upgraded turbos, bigger fuel pump or EBC by the time we install....lol.

Thanks again Tony, can't wait man.

From here on out I think I'll make my car buying decisions based on what Tony makes aftermarket parts for. He always chooses a great car and makes it even better!

I'm interested in the financing option. I was waiting until I paid off my car to turbo it but that's mainly because I don't think I would have enough money saved up but if I could finance out the kit for a few years, not only can i afford to go FI, my credit will go up as well.

Can't wait

Didn't you mention you have tranny issues in another thread? You sure you want to do that?

Presto 03-31-2013 02:30 AM

Wish the mods can keep the thread on topic and about the kit. Maybe a separate thread can be opened to discuss credit scores/if financing a tt kit is good idea etc? Just a suggestion

We are currently working on upgrades for the 7AT crowd. It is a priority however the #1 priority is to get the TT Kit in to production. By early summer we plan to have all of the options available.

If you have any questions about specifics please do not hesitate to call us directly.

Can't wait

We are still ironing out the details to even see if the financing is a viable option. If it does go through it will be through a third party lender. Just like a car loan or purchasing an appliance on credit. Now from the information that we have gathered and been told, the buyer will need to be present to make the purchase along with 2 forms of I.D. These are the requirements of what most secure lenders want. Now this is going to be considered an unsecured loan so do not expect the interest rate to be very low. Personally I think it would me much less painful for a buyer of ours to just put it on their own credit card if they have to. Like I stated above, this is not even an option quite yet, just some things we have looked in to and considered for our consumers. When we have been speaking to our potential customers we always recommend the layaway option to them opposed to paying interest. We are not in the business of sinking our customers in to interest debt just to purchase our products. Maybe some can call this way of thinking not very smart business however we are not just in business to make a buck. Integrity, quality, passion about the cars and customer satisfaction always rank up there with making money.

As of right now we have two ways that you can purchase our TT Kit. Option #1 would be to just purchase it outright. Right now it is currently not ready to ship so we are just taking deposits and charging the remaining balance when it is ready to go. Now once it is on the shelf we plan to ship within a few business days.

Option #2 is our layaway plan. We have done this for years and it works. We will take a smaller deposit up front and then work with our customers budget and time line as to what makes them feel comfortable to pay each month. This option does have a loose time cap of 9-12 months. I myself and most customers prefer to keep it around 6-7 months. We do understand that everyones situation is different. In the end we want our customers to be able to enjoy our products and will do whatever we can with them to make it happen. A few things to point out with option #2. Layaway means the product will not ship out until it is paid in full. Lastly, a big benefit to this option is that there is zero interest to be paid!

If anyone is interested in our kit or has any questions at all please do not hesitate to call us directly.

Thank you for your time.

Tony
