We are working on it as we speak. Over the next 48-72 hours we will be polishing it up and getting everything off to our web guy. Really shooting for a Wednesday to Thursday release.

We want to thank everyone for their continued patience and ask if you can continue to hang in there with us.

Stay tuned...

Is there a difference between 7AT kit and 6MT kit? like are there "recommended" upgrades for 7AT and 6 MT?

We will provide all necessary AT lines with the kit. As far as recommend upgrades:

-Upgraded Transmission Cooler (We will offer this as an option)
-Upgraded Transmission Valve Body (We will offer this as an option)

We are currently working on a 7AT upgrade for the community. Once we have more information, we will pass it on. On another note, I am putting together an update for the kit coming shortly.

Stay tuned...

Thanks, Tony

Update,

We have pricing finalized! It will be released in the "Official Press Release". The update today is to share some professional thoughts in response to (one of our competitors) as well as share some additional photos of our highly anticipated kit...

So the word on the street about our kit is and I quote "Since bells, whistles and shiny manifolds that no-one will ever see once installed under your hood involve lots of unnecessary cost that drives up the price for a twin turbo system". Well let me be the first to tell you all, the manifolds themselves are a very small cost in the grand scheme of things in our kit. The main contributing cost, the "meat and potato's" that drives the cost of our kit is the following:

-Garrett GT Series "Ball Bearing/Water cooled" Turbochargers
As we all know force inducted applications generate large amounts of heat. Heat within the engine bay and heat within the exhaust system. We are talking EGT's Exhaust Gas Temperatures in excess of 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Water cooled turbochargers being used in everyday current applications are the result of evolution and technology. To not offer this in our kit to cut cost is not an option.

-Tial 38mm MSV Wastegates/Tial Q Blow Off Valves
Tial has a proven name and is by far and away one the highest quality and most reliable options in the industry. There are some good alternatives however in the end we chose Tial. The cutting edge technology in both the (optional) Water cooled Wastegates and Q Blow Off Valve are where it is right now and tomorrows future. There are more affordable options on the market. Again, when designing this kit for the community we committed to using only (what we felt) is the right fit for our kit.

-F.I. Front Mount Innercooler
Our innercooler was designed to provide the kit with the maximum amount of flow which will create the highest efficiency available. Keeping the (IAT's) Inlet Air Temperature's as low as possible. This is achieved by the use of a high quality core that is matched for air flow and desired performance of it's application and not simply designed within a space constraint, i.e. cramming a very small and inefficient innnercooler between your core support and crash bar. On the other hand, safety is a top priority and concern. This is why we are working on incorporating the factory crash bar to fit with the proper innercooler opposed to an inefficient innercooler fitting behind the factory crash bar.

-Aluminum Innercooler Tubing
Our innercooler tubing is 6061 light weight "polished" aluminum or wrinkle black power coated. A third TOP SECRET option will be available down the road but for now is Top Secret. We could of saved cost and fabricated the tubing our of steel and then chrome plated it however as well all know, steel is heavier, is susceptible to rusting on the inside where it is not chromed, the chroming can flake over time and last and most important will not dissipate heat nearly as well as aluminum.

The parts above are just a few of the major key components that make our kit what it is. Custom aluminum water fittings & oil drain fittings, innercooler brackets, the Greddy Oil pan and our Oil Cooler Kit, Bosch Injectors, Walbro and optional Aeromotive fuel pumps are other contributing costs that drive the kit as well.

The bottom line is this, At the end of the day our kit is methodically designed and manufactured with the highest and most efficient available/custom parts. The installation is extremely straightforward with no modifications to the engine, wiring harness and steering components. We have proven that our kit performs across the board. Real world, believable dyno charts and data are what we have produced. The result of what we have created so far helped along with precision driving to now holding the worlds fastest E.T. quarter mile time @

11.493 seconds...

On to the fun part. Below are some additional teaser pics to hold you all over until the "Official Press Release".

Kit looks great and also performs great, I love it. This platform has been waiting far to long for all of these FI options. I hope everyone can just be civil and pick the best kit for their needs/wants.

It is a great time to be shopping in the FI market, wish I still was.

And how much is this kit going to cost and is a fuel system going to be include? Did you use drags when you beat the 11.75 time?

LMBmikeZ 03-12-2013 09:18 PM

As stated above the "OFFICIAL RELEASE" is not until Friday

For the mean time we can all just sit and wait!

We will offer the pricing in the press release this Friday. The kit will be available with many different options. A bare bone starter kit, as well as a full kit option that will include complete fuel system upgrades, oil cooler kits and tunes.

We used the Mickey Thompson E.T. Street Radials during the drag testing.

Thanks, Tony

Question. So you have an option with no blow off valves, right? Kinda like what the diesel guys are doing right

I am a little lost on that one. You went 11.75 and we eclipsed that by almost 3 tenths of a second. Please elaborate for me, it will be appreciated.

Thanks, Tony

I think he's on street tires

Nismo370 03-12-2013 11:51 PM

I see you were on 16inch rim with an M.T. Street/drag tire. I did it on my 19inch volk wheels, with my car sitting low not optimal for traction on RE-11 tires, with a stage 1 GTM TT Kit.

future370zzz 03-13-2013 12:18 AM

Okay? Still don't see how that makes your time the record when it's 3 tenths slower?

Exactly, hate to do it but:
Winning is winning, doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile.

Looking forward to official press release and pricing. Especially after GTM's comments over in their thread and their rumored pricing being pretty damned low.

Modded is modded, they went all out to have the best time. No is going to look at tires at the end of the day, they will look at the fastest time no matter what.

Well I think their new kit is in a different market class than what F.I. is producing here.
This kit will compete against GTMs garrett TT setup which can get fairly pricey for some. Which at that point comes down to design, power under the curve, etc rather than price.
