Agreed. Quality is definitely not something to be concerned with on this setup. I beat the hell out of mine today and it' didn't miss a beat

I will let Tony or Dan chime in as to why they did things this way, however I think it's because of when the motor flexes under load you want everything to move with it.. No one has blown a coupler yet so I don't see this being an issue.

Also, I don't think quality should be a concern at all with this kit. Everything is top notch.

I hope so too. Quality and longevity should go hand in hand with performance in my opinion.

You see, if there are brackets on these pipes, I can have rubber mounts and mount them to the frame somewhere so that can prevent pipes cracking over time and also would further solidify all of the piping positions. The factory small rubber mount that I have been using is from the stock air filter box works really well on my oil cooler. Yes, please address this concern to Dan or Tony. Thank you

I think their rep sort of speaks for itself.

Also, fittings and couplers should be checked every few thousand miles anyway, regardless of the kit. Becomes part of normal maintenance.

CY, how we doin buddy. are you almost there?

I just wish they use rubber coupler like factory turbo set up--- like GTR for example. Those pipes and couplers are rock solid and never have any issues coming loose at all. At least I have never seen them coming losse. But I guess that's not practical for the manufacturing process in this case.

Yes, inquiring minds want to know :D

I went with full intentions of taking lots if video...and promptly left all my memory cards at home. It's was a short day anyway so not a huge loss. It performed great though. No temp issues, but it was relatively cool today. Gotta make some diff changes though lol.

I'll be back out next weekend which should give me the time to make those changes and get some video

Do you guys run the dyno numbers you make on the street too? No turning down boost since the dyno?

djtodd 04-09-2014 09:56 PM

I run around town at 9-10 psi. Wide open at the track :)
