Indeed. Even if you have to buy 5 5 gallon gas cans or ship it back. You will always regret leaving all that power and SAFETY on the table. Not to mention if you have Seb tuning it, well.....DO IT!

Search state by state, you would be surprised. Looks like the only stretch that is iffy is west Texas(you are in texas iirc?). Remember, you can get about 250-300 miles with a full tank and a light foot.(I am being conservative with this number).

Hey seb. I will speak to Tony about that. We didn't decide on e85 at first is because we weren't sure about the transmission. Now we know the transmission isn't an issue I might just switch to e85. I guess we'll figure out the driving back home part later. Can't wait to pick up my car and meet all the people behind this project!

Appreciate it man! With 93 I can get about 400 miles on highways. I will definitely carefully plan the trip and get additional gas cans.

ok i did some research, the route im taking im going to have to carry extra fuel with me. there's 400 miles between AZ and NM no E85 stations.

That can be done, but you basically have to run the tank dry and then pump in 93/91 and change tunes. If you have half a tank of e85 and then throw in 93/91 you will need to have a tune for that blend also. Other option is to siphon out any left over fuel when he is in the dead zone for e85.

Ya I can always have different tunes for different fuels but it's unrealistic to dry out my fuel system and switch fuels while driving from cali to tx. Carrying extra fuel is the most realistic option.

Carrying extra fuel would probably be wise, plus this allows for errors on mapping if a station drops e85 all of a sudden.

E85 is a real simple decision guys.

If E85 is available 24 hours a day within a 20-30 minute drive for you, then there is nothing left to think about.

Once you make that switch, you will be like everyone else that ever did... and anytime you see someone question it, or have trouble making up their mind, you will want to shake them and yell
