It can be, but we listen for detonation through head phones tapped directly into the ECU and the car has never left the dyno with anything too aggressive. It is still in our hands and we will do everything in our power not to blow it up! I promise that it will be right when we are finished. We are just sharing everything in our findings with the community to keep you all included every step of the way.

We are working on perfecting the fuel and rest assured that we will have it figured out.

There is one of 2 gas stations locally that we can get it from. I believe it is roughly $8.50 per gallon. I am going to get 10 gallons there tonight. I will take a picture and post if you the community.

Also, I got to finally spend a little seat time in the car and all I have to say is WOW.. the boost was turned down to about 5psi and still pulled like a train! The car spools instantly, way faster than I imagined. Honestly I would compare it my families cls550 with the TT V8. 3rd gear and tip into the throttle even at 3k rpms and the car just takes off. It shreds my 305s like they are prius tires without even going WOT. I really cant express how pleased I am with the car. Out of boost the car drives like stock, it is not to loud, nor are there any other weird things that make the car less tolerable, but if you tip into the throttle be ready and hang on!!! I will obviously post up a more detailed review with tons of video and pictures. I want to publicly thank everyone from F.I and Specialty Z as they have far exceeded my expectations once again. Stay tuned for track times and other updates coming soon!

I'm exagerating a little. Our premium grade gas here (91 or 94 octane) goes for the equivalent of ~$5.70/gallon :icon14:

Little Update,

We just completed tech inspection and we are being told that the first time we hit 11.49 that we are being booted! Looks like the tech inspector remembered the car from 2 weeks ago.

There are rules set that if you are a certain speed/time you must have specific safety equipment.
Once you start getting into the 11/10 many tracks require roll cages, safety gear, etc.

Here it's 12.99 or faster you need a helmet, 11.99 or faster a roll cage and so on...

Roll cage was for 2012 rules 11.49 or faster
Its 9.99 or faster now.
I will be putting GTR badges on my car.( its a 2009 GTR).

That is true, but many tracks are only allowing the sub-10 rule for bone stock cars like the GT-R and Corvette.

We ran about an hour ago. Wheel hop was atrocious! Cut a 2.0 60 FT.

Went 11.99 @125.90 Too much tire pressure and launched a little high.

In the lanes ready to go again. I guess we are not booted as of yet...

It looks like they set a goal to reach by the end of the day.... Get booted with a smile!

Loving the Facebook updates guys! Its easier to keep an eye on it that way.

Even if we don't get booted we are smiling all the way home. 11.4 on 9 psi is more than acceptable. Broke the stock block record by almost three tenths of a second. Stock suspension and heavy 19" rims (up front) getting drug down the strip.

Want to get a few more passes in where it sits. Probably wont turn the boost up. Smarter to play it safe than sorry! Think she has got an 11.3 in her the way she sits. Currently sitting in the stageing lanes waiting out turn.
