Thanks guys I guess I'm driving back! I'll probably cruise most of the time just to save some gas. I might even take a week off and turn it into a mini vacation.

That trip definitely looks interesting.

You will travel through Kingman which is about 60 miles east of the Cali boarder. Maybe we can hook up for lunch or dinner on your way through. If you make a vacation of it you could also make a trip to Vegas as well if you are into that sort of thing. There are a bunch of Z&G folks there.

Definitely! I might spend the night somewhere in AZ

The drive... BORING... Holy crap it's boring... Mind blowingly boring...

See the Grand Canyon, if you like Breaking Bad, see the stuff in the ABQ, then drive non stop to Amarillo-ish, check out Cadillac Ranch, eat a 8307664oz steak, then back home

cycy89 03-09-2014 11:17 PM

I've been to Grand Canyon, abq, I lived in nm for 3 years lol. Might stop by Vegas tho!

I say stop by in Vegas. Might as well make it a vacation. C&c Saturday would be interesting to say the least. Possibly 4 Boosted Zs! If you come through.

You got that right about not much to see, but it's better than the southern route down I-10 and there is no such thing as boring when you are driving boosted. Long open roads become a playground of fun....:p

Nixlimited 03-10-2014 09:15 AM

Don't go the southern route. I have done that route and it's mind-numbing. Good luck no your drive home!

I made this drive in college. Funny thing is it was exactly 1,500 miles from Austin. As others have stated....ITS BORING!!!

Now I didn't have a bad@ss turbo kit on my car when I made it, so....maybe it won't be that bad.

Chuck33079 03-10-2014 10:10 AM

Can't be worse than I-10. I could have set cruise control as I left San Antonio and fallen asleep. Honestly, if your alignment is good enough, you'd wake up in El Paso still in your own lane. :rofl2:

cycy89 03-10-2014 10:12 AM

Definitely not going through el Paso lol
