Is Alfonso another Debbie downer?

TopgunZ 02-15-2014 10:51 AM

Yeah. It just doesnt contribute to the knowledge of the community when 95 percent of what some people say is their "opinion", which is mostly negativity, versus facts and data.

Faceglide - Do you happen to have any videos of your car running E85?

faceglide 02-15-2014 06:30 PM

Not yet. Was planning on doing some today but it's a tad too wet to want take the thing out.

Will definitely do some on ramp 0 to 60 four funsies soon enough.

Here it is noobs....

Ignore the warning (tire sensor)

This is 91.

Running TT, Going up to 180MPH and Down to 50MPH, 60 Mile Run in Total. From Fontana to Sylmar. This is what I see when pushing the car hard (but not too hard, shifting around 5500RPM not 7400RPM)

That's Right, 26MPG Boosted! Fast Intentions Turbo Kit is SAVING ME MONEY! LOL I was never able to get this on N/A running car this hard.

Lol, you can't use that. It's not close to that because your injectors are so much larger. Sorry, but you're the noob right now :tiphat:

Mine reads the same and I get the flashing low tire sign too and then it goes away. My actual mileage is about 21mpg (using the odometer) at 80mph. The best I ever got NA was 26, but mostly it ranged from around 24!

:iagree: Exactly right, that thing measures the fuel injector pulses not actual mpg.

Too funny, that trollface.

Hopefully weather is nice for president's day. Hope to take the wife up North, if it's nice, I'll make her hold the camera as I scare the living jeebus out of here. Just happy to finally be caught up on some sleep!

Stay safe friends, happy boosting!

Cell 02-16-2014 06:56 AM

If you are boosted and still get gas mileage close to stock then you are not enjoying it. I was getting 10-13mpg with the turbo kit. Stock I was getting 15-16mpg.

Hotrodz 02-16-2014 09:13 AM

I get less mpg in my Z commuting back and forth to work than I do in my 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel!!

cycy89 02-16-2014 10:10 AM

I get less mpg in my fx37 lol. I drive just as hard as I drive the z, plus it's awd, heavier and less aerodynamic. So ya not an ideal daily lol.
Edit: sorry about the off topic.
