Blake, at just under 10 psi we are at 545 rwhp on your car. This is pushing it on CA 91 octane fuel. As your tuner, I am comfortable with a 8 psi and 500 whp. It gives us some wiggle room and is safer for the street. Think about the inconsistencies in octane level from station to station and hot weather. If you want to turn the boost up past 10 psi we can run 100 octane fuel\tune. 575 whp is fantastic at just 10 psi on this kit! We can also talk about converting the Z to ethanol. :)

Hello,

I saw your pm last night. My apologies for the delay, I have been out in the shop finishing up an install. I will get back to you shortly.

Thank you, Tony

Seb,

I couldn't of said it better myself! I am in complete agreement with you that 500-525 RWH is the cap number given our garbage 91 Octane fuel here in CA.

High Compression + 91 Octane = Conservative Boost and Timing levels!

On that note, we have a couple of customers back east waiting for our kit that have built engines, upgraded fuel systems and will be on E85. Really looking forward to seeing how the kit can really shine in those higher boost levels.

Tony

F.I. kits use the UpRev.

phunk 12-19-2013 03:35 PM

Right. I guess I wasnt sure if they were doing custom tuning on it or not. I probably should have read through more of the thread.

elperuano 12-19-2013 03:42 PM

Don't think there are any boosted 370s or g37s using ecutek yet. Just NA cars

faceglide 12-19-2013 08:51 PM

Yeah, I do plan on possibly bringing the car back to Seb when hrs ready to tune me on ecutek, if he feels it is worth it.

Looks like I may be the first F.I. TT car on e85? Exciting! Charles, get back to work!!!!!!!!

Hi Charles

Currently still using UpRev until EcuTek releases more goodies. Looking forward to it when it happens.

This thread makes me want to add the FI exhaust to my setup. I love their attention to detail and quality! Anyone want a low milage, slightly modified Berk exhaust? :D

unknowndesi 12-20-2013 01:21 AM

Hey Tony, you must be busy as heck with this project. I sent you a PM about some customization for this kit. Could you have a look at it when you get a chance.

Thanks in advance

I don't get on here as much as I would like because of work etc., but seriously, catching up on this thread is just more reason to stay home and save money for this kit. And that is while I wait for my turn at getting my exhaust installed. All worth the wait!!!!

@Tony - Was looking at the exhaust thread and got excited that you guys are in production of at least past #867. Let's me know I'm getting much closer. Thanks for keeping this thread updated and the exhaust thread. Despite my anxiousness, I hope you and the rest of the FI crew take some time to rest and spend time with your families during the holidays.

Happy Holidays to all.

Good to see you post. Glad you didn't get the other, other, other guy's kit.

And yeah for sure, to Tony and all the other guys at the shop, take a break, and enjoy your holidays!!!
