Lol thanks 1slow370z  I have yet to make a build thread to get everything in one place. Car runs solid and putting down decent numbers. Waiting on dumb japenese parts again for aero so I don't have a rat rod looking car thats 4 different colors haha. Amuse rear showed up last week, so just waiting for fujimura side diffusers and then it goes to a body shop for some sexy time. Hopefully by then I will be able to make some type of build thread.

you are one of the lucky ones/
I year and 2 months now and the motor build is still progressing.
im now optimistic that it may be ready by the end of the year.
I call Sam once a week.
every thing is gone wrong on the build. from the wrong valves to the wrong rods.
Never again will i buy anything from a vender in the USA, as you pay for it in advance and wait,
I have a feeling that im the only one that GTM has made a 4.2 stroker for the 370 Z.
And im still waiting for the Ings body kit from Vivid.

Ummm I don't consider myself a lucky one. My car was there for 18mos and the only reason I got it back is becuz I sat in the shop from open to close on a swirly desk chair for 3 days refusing to leave it, only to take it to specialty Z. That's not counting several flights to the shop to check on the progress that was not really coming along. Otherwise im sure my car would still be there. I'm sorry for your misfortune and I hope you get whatever it is you paid GTM for but I'm far from lucky.

That's damn unfortunate! I know your pain. It's sad that it comes out so good, but takes Months and months to get there. Some real changes could help a ton.

Everyone knew it would take a lot longer than "expected"
Even though I may be a little on the negative side, I just don't see the motor ever being done to be honest... Only time will tell I guess, and by time I mean years lol

The way these things work is his money went to buy parts for 15 other vehicles. The engine build was slow waiting for new customers to bring in their money. The parts/money shell game is what brings most shops down ultimately. I always thought GTM was too big for that until this year.
