Though the kit is designed for the engine to be left in and installed, there is even a DIY on the forum of it.
it's definitely easier, i wouldn't recommend doing it with the engine in. one of the most frustrating things i've done mechanically

To install a TT on this platform with the engine in is a nightmare. Why anyone would recommend installing this kit with the motor in is weird to me. You COULD do it but why take the hardest route possible? Definitely MUCH easier to install with the motor dropped. To each his own I suppose.

not all of us have lifts to drop the engine, you can pull it out the front as well but thats arguably just as bad as installing with the engine in

Yea that's almost the same, I was simply going on that anyone would actually recommend doing it with motor in. That's just tough.

Is it fun? Oh yeah. But be careful. There's a lot more power to deal with. Respect it. Things you could get away with at stock power levels will have you swapping ends in a hurry.

looks like they forgot to paint your wastegate actuator brackets, those will rust as they are just steel. you need to paint those brackets, the intercooler brackets, and the steering rack coupler. my engine mount spacers came painted already but some have had to paint those as well.

Whenever someone says car porn it always reminds me of the show "My strange addiction" and this weird guy used to have sex with his car... Not sure how one goes about doing that but yeaa......
Back on topic, definitely looks like car porn!
