ok-we were thinking perhaps on the steering rack bottom plate(it is quite tight and does not sit properly on one side. the web on inside of plate touches steering rack.

thanks

Coming along nicely! This is the home stretch now! Is the same shop doing tuning?

the same shop will set up the basic tune but no dyno there so they will take it to another shop for help with the tune

the instructions are pretty clear, that plate is definitely not used on the steering rack. I got an extra bracket in my kit too but it was a different one, its like a surprise

just some advice as far as tuning goes, Sam's tune was pretty much spot on for my car and most others. AFR can be tweaked a bit but timing there likely won't be much to adjust if at all. if you get it dyno tuned make sure its by a competent tuner so you dont waste your time and money

elperuano 12-20-2012 07:35 PM

Is there any other way??;)

BG370z 12-21-2012 08:31 AM

is there an aftermarket water bottle? the intercooler piping kills that space.

Chuck33079 12-21-2012 08:31 AM

GTM makes one. It's not too expensive.

day 8

intercooler installed, ohh my thats a big one. Lots of piping.
had a small issue with wastegates(seemed two male connection)
shop then machined pcs to fit properly. The new Greddy exhaust is
so cool looking-baffles have to go. Love the look under the engine with the
big intake pipes(but not chrome-i may paint black)the 34 row oil cooler is now on also, tucked neatly away

So i have 3 gauges to mount and have an A-pillar universal mount but shop
not that keen mounting over location close to airbag......what to do?
