This should be interesting. Good luck with it. My only concern would be traction. Rwd vs gtr awd

Thats insanly quick.
And my buddies who have the camaros, mustangs and corvett's. Next year is going to be a lot of fun at the track.
you should already be beating most of the camaros and stangs with your 1/4 time now. i took down a 2011 SS camaro mid summer at the drag strip in my Z and that run i only ran a 13.35

7 AT being installed today.
A few set backs. No big deal just will take time to work it out
it has to have be married to the ecu. (have to remove my Cobb from the car)
car ecu set back to stock ( drove the car to the dealer ) it sucked with the factory setting in it.
tranney will be mated to the car by nissan consult 3.
I then need to put in the GTM tranney flash for the VB ( uprev ). GTM
And then brake in it for a few 100 km's
the bad news is that i lost my own custom cobb tune for the car.
Sam will be sending me a tune for my car so that i can run it.
I wouid like to reinstall the cobb back in the car with my tune but not sure what will happen with the tranney flash from uprev.
I had them both hooked into my car before i changed the tranney.
May not make it to the track on sunday.

Nissan dealership just called me and told me that my car is ready. They road tested the car and told me that it is night and day difference from when they put the converter in 2 weeks ago.
They called it a missle on wheels.
just wait till tune it and put the GTM flash in the tranney/
Im picking it up tommorow morning,

Z

Z eliminator let me know how the car feels. My cylinder heads are currently receiving new valve train, valves, five angle valve job and having the JUN cams installed. After this I am doing the transmission. I will let you know how it is when I get the heads back from GTM. I think these combinations are going to be so sick.

I'm not sure why you're talking **** about GTR's. Intake, exhaust, and a Flash and they are going 10's. No real compromise between that and your car per say, which needs a built motor, built trans, and a SC to do the same. Don't ever hate on someone who can afford a GTR and buy said GTR over a Z. I know I would if I could.
Not sure he was talking **** so much as showing respect for the GT-R. Probably doing so for the same reason guys like me built the crap out of small blocks roaming the street for unsuspecting big block cars. Entry level costs, challenge of the build etc. besides the GTR being turbo from the factory (as well as AWD) and similar displacement, WHY NOT? I believe if he were really talking smack, he'd be aiming for other brands. Finally, to your point, with all the 1200-1500hp GTRs, Lambos, Ferarris etc, why even bother? Just buy a PRIUS and stay in the granny lane.
Not starting a scuffle, just pointing out whats obvious to me.
guess this guy should stay home and watch the boobtube?

Got the GTM flash in the car and a new fuel map.
Shifts way faster than the stock 7 AT,
did some data logging but the shift times seemed to quick for 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd.
Need to test it a little more, trouble is the track is closed till next year and its hard to find a place to test the car.with out geting a ticket of be charged for stunt driving.
I also have to find a place to secure the lab top as it went flying when i tested the car .
i tried the 4th to 5th shift , way better.
The more rpms you shift at the faster it shifts.
Im very impressed with the MM for shifting with the paddles/
The only question now is do i run N/A for i day next year or do i put the GTM stage 2 SC in over the winter. It would be nice to see what the car would run N/A. 12.1's easy.

Maximize track time. Waiting to get 1 NA run to only take the car down for the supercharger install is silly.

It would be nice to see what she can do as N/A

If you do the install you/we will never know what it was capable of doing

Either way Congrats on your awesome build it is nice to see the potential for the 7AT!
