turbo ? is it daily driver?
looking to buy a single turbo
|
If you can afford one by all means. Its your choice.
But this is my opinion if you drive daily in the city with all the traffic and stop and go....Why bother to have a Turbo, you don't need all that power. But if the TURBO makes you feel good knowing you have the advantage when needed then go ahead. With the stock set up you can already smoke "MOST" of the cars out there. my 2 cents. I want a TURBO but the problem I can't afford it. |
How mucho is it, I can't afford twin turbo.. I just want one to get the upper hand

Check out the Boosted Performance thread in this section of the forums, its a very nicely done single turbo build.

I have STs turbo cost me 7 grand shipped to Canada 440whp 375wtrq love it and drive it everyday. STs treated me great as well
|
Single or twin are both pricey. I'd say $10k is a good amount to set aside...a bit more to cover the unexpected and supporting mods.
|
I would probably save that $10k for a down payment for a used GTR!!!
|
Unless you are going to install the turbo by yourself it will cost you a lot more than 10,000, with labor an SC install costed me 10k
