Another possible turbo option?

My boys over at Rev Works are cooking something big up for the 370Z!

That's right a new single turbo system, which is to support something a little different and very techie! looking to make good power, and better torque then others out there, even my current setup. I know I am excited for this as I am always happy to see our platforms options grow and evolve!

Hopefully Marti will chime in an give more details about this upcoming project!

Contact Marti the Forum rep for Rev works a Forum Vendor for details! check out their FB page, or their Rev Works website!!
I am posting this as I am involved in this project

How will this compare to the S&R or the Boosted single?

You erase your last thread?

This one is using a different turbo option. A BW turbo, and from what I have seen and read, there will be more torque... I am hoping it's better overall... it will make everyone step up and increase product quality...
some would ask, why I would want this, well, any improvement over what's out there is good for everyone!

better boost response, better power curve... I am all for it

Are they considering a different pipe route or diameter? Wondering what they'll be doing differently to improve over the Boost/S&R design... hmmm

Is that Marti, from S&R?

its being designed around a different turbo, so it will probably be piped differently. I don't have all the details yet, but the turbo itself is a huge upgrade over the 6266 I have now

Can your turbo be upgraded by just a turbo upgrade using the same piping, or would you need new flanges/mounts?

Will the new turbo dramatically effect the kit pricing?

yes, and no. The turbo is bigger, so the piping I have might have to be changed up, also dependent on how this new kit is routed, it might be wiser to update all together

Is that something you're looking to do if this kit does in fact out perform the S&R kit? Or are you still locked to them for a time due to the publicity?

How are you involved? Design? Upgrading your S&R?

I am always looking ways to have a more efficient, powerful Z.
I love that my car drives like a stock NISMO when out of boost... and roars like a mo fawking monster when in boost... but things will need to change when I go for more power anyway
